Let's set the scene, shall we?

You are a college freshman at New York University. Your dorm room windows overlook the big, beautiful balconies attached to the fancy apartment building next door. You often glare at them longingly, trying to remember life before you shared a tiny closet with a total stranger.

One day, you hear Jude Law is coming to New York to do Hamlet on Broadway. Lo and behold, soon after you spot him doing yoga on one of those very balconies. You think he's dreamy, so you watch regularly.

That is, until he spots you. Gasp!

Law does what any man who has yet to meet his illegitimate new baby would do: He throws oranges at your windows.

True story. Well, at least according to the NYU kids and the New York Post.

Of course, these students admit they were shouting at him, waving and snapping photos, but tossing produce isn't exactly neighborly.

Times Square may not be the most romantic place on earth, but the apex of New York City is ripe for reunions.

When it was announced that Sienna Miller and Jude Law would be taking the title roles of After Miss Julie and Hamlet on Broadway at the same time, gossip lovers (and haters) gasped. Who can forget all the drama the exes caused during their tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship from 2004 to 2006?

Well, as should come as no surprise to anyone, rumors have begun that the blond beauty is over Balty, the baby-daddy is over babies and the two of them have become romantically entangled yet again.

"Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well," a source tells the U.K.'s OK! magazine, which even says a spokesperson confirmed the face time to them.

Jude Law's fourth child and his hot baby mama, Samantha Burke, are ready for their close-up.

Five-week-old Sophia is making her debut in this week's British tab Hello!, appearing on the cover with her mom and with a 14-page spread inside—which means you're seeing the happy newborn before her dad.

"There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he's busy," Burke says. "He'll fall in love with her when he sees her.

"She has Jude's chin and nose, and she does a little pout, that I notice he's done before."

He's already admitted it, but now a chemistry set proves it.

Paternity tests confirm Jude Law is the father of Samantha Burke's baby daughter, Sophia.

"Since the birth of her daughter, Sophia, there have been a number of reports in the media questioning paternity," the 24-year-old brunette's rep, Eileen Koch, said in a statement to E! News. "In response to those questions, Samantha can firm that DNA testing has conclusively established that Jude Law is Sophia's father. Samantha and Sophia are doing well and appreciate all of the well wishes they have received."

The tot was born on Sept. 22, nine months after the current Broadway star's brief but possibly forgettable fling with the aspiring model.

"I can advise that, as per Jude's original statement, he considers this an entirely private matter and will be making no further comment—nor us on his behalf," the actor's London rep, Sara Keene, tells E! News.

Someone's about to put a new nanny on speed dial: Jude Law is a father once again.

The star's onetime fling, 24-year-old Samantha Burke, gave birth to a baby girl Tuesday evening, People reports. In July, the actor confirmed the child was on the way.

"I doubt he was there," the magazine's source says. "Besides the financial support, he's not involved."

The 36-year-old actor, currently starring in Hamlet on Broadway, already has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost.

Last month, a close friend of Burke's told E! News the pair met in a club in New York City and that "Jude didn't even remember her. She hasn't seen him since New York. They've only been in contact through their lawyers."

"She met him at a club in New York," says the friend. "He was sick, so she kept going to his hotel over the course of a week to take care of him."

There is now a name to go with the egg.

A lawyer for model and aspiring actress Samantha Burke has said that his client is pregnant with Jude Law's fourth child.

"Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall," the attorney told TMZ on Thursday. "Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy."

Well, that's good to hear.

Law's publicist had said as much in confirming that the British thesp was going to be a dad again, stating that Law planned to be a "fully supportive part of the child's life."

But it's nice to hear it from the other side, too, you know?

Looks as if Jude Law's going to be in the market for another nanny.

No, not because he's lonely.

The divorced father of three is expecting his fourth child with an ex-girlfriend, who shall remain nameless for now.

"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," the actor's rep said in a statement. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."

The erstwhile Oscar nominee has three kids with ex-wife Sadie Frost. He was engaged to perennial It girl Sienna Miller, but a dalliance with one of his children's nannies ultimately put an end to that in 2005.

In the meantime, Law's been pulling Hamlet duty in London's West End, and the acclaimed production moves to Broadway in September. The Brit also plays Dr. Watson alongside Robert Downey Jr.'s titular sleuth in Sherlock Holmes, due in theaters Christmas Day.

Heath Ledger's final performance has screened for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival, and the filmmakers aren't shying away from calling out the importance of the project.

Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, screening out of competition at the fest, even ended with an onscreen dedication: "A film from Heath Ledger and friends."

Ledger, who died in January 2008, plays a snake-oil salesman type who is found hanging from a London bridge by two members of a traveling theater troupe. The group introduces Ledger to a magic portal that allows him to travel to different fantastical worlds that exist within people's imaginations.

"There was irony throughout this film and there was even more irony post Heath's death," Gilliam told reporters. "I hope he would be pleased with it. I think he would be."
