Snoop: Not So High on Miley, JoBros & Twilight

Once upon a time, Snoop Dogg told us he'd like to hit the studio with Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.
Sadly, he's singing a different tune these days.
When we caught up with the rapper in April, he told us that he'd like to "make some gangsta pop music" with the Disney sensations.
But when we ran into him last night at the launch of Adidas Originals by David Beckham and James Bond in L.A., he quickly backtracked...
Joe Jonas & the Tramp: It's Not Pretty
Apparently, the Jonas Brothers are as bouncy as the toe-tappin' pop music they put out. Why else would they put a trampoline in the middle of their concert stage?
But it's not just there for the dancers or the chance items that get tossed onto the platform. Those gutsy rockers actually dare to jump on and off it. Which, we guess, is all well and good until someone falls on their face.
This hasn't happened quite yet, but Joe Jonas was clearly trying to imitate those fancy 540 jump-kicks the B-boys do on America's Best Dance Crew and it didn't turn out too well.
Kerplunk! He took a tumble and really stuck the landing...on his tush.
Love 'em or hate 'em, it's still funny.

Do you see that? Even Hayden Panettiere is laughing it up in Big Pic.
More Paula Replacements: A JoBro and the Original American Idol
Who knows if American Idol is going to suck without Paula Abdul next season, but her empty chair will be getting quite the workout regardless.
The original Idol, season-one winner Kelly Clarkson, and teen dream Joe Jonas are the latest hitmakers who will be pulling guest-judge duty on the Fox series' upcoming ninth season, the L.A. Times' Showtracker blog reported Tuesday.
Like Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and, most recently, Shania Twain, the pop stars have signed on to critique a set of wannabes during one of the audition rounds.
(Not really sure how any "Burnin' Up" fan is going to make it through her/his solo in front of the arguably hottest JoBro, but maybe we'll be lucky enough to be privy to some innocent, nonfatal hyperventilating.)
Clarkson last graced the Idol stage as a performer in March, while Joe and his fellow Jonas Brothers performed on the season-seven finale, before the coronation of David Cook.
Well, we know that both judges can sing. The only question is, do we care what they think?

Doesn't Kelly Clarkson look hot in the video for "Already Gone"?
Miley, Demi, Selena & the JoBros Are the World
No need to pinch yourselves, tweeners. You're not dreaming.
Disney has gathered its brightest stars, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers for a "We Are the World"-like music video for Friends for Change: Project Green. "Send It On" is meant to unite the kiddies in green living and protecting planet Earth.
That's probably why they ditch the big stage and energy-sucking bright lights for the great outdoors. At first, we were really distracted by the oh-so-convenient intimate pairing of Miley and Nick Jonas. And then we were bugged by Joe Jonas wearing yet another pink shirt and impressed with Selena out-adorabling the lot of them. But we guess there was some sort of charitable point.
Somehow, though, the whole thing seems far less poignant than Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and tons of other major stars teaming up for humanitarian aid in Africa. Maybe that's because it had nothing to do with powerful mice.

All these guys won Teen Choice Awards. Did you see them?

Joe Jonas: Valentine's Day Just Got a Little Sweeter
Joe Jonas is moving up the movie-star ladder.
I just got word that Joe is close to joining Hollywood hotshots like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah in director Garry Marshall's romantic comedy Valentine's Day.
Yup, the same movie that also has appearances by Joe's ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, Twilight star Taylor Lautner and Emma Roberts.
No word on Joe's role, but...

Teen Scene: Twilight, Britney and...President Obama?
Twilight fans, rejoice!
Robert Pattinson & Co. have some of the best seats in the house at this weekend's Teen Choice Awards.
But before we get into who is sitting where and with whom, I wanna fill ya in on some other goodies I just got for you during my exclusive sneak peek of what's in store for the annual surfboard awards show.
Here we go…
Reports of Britney Spears performing during Sunday's taping of the show (it airs on Monday on Fox) have been greatly exaggerated.
Britney will be there, though. She's not only a multiple-nominee, but she's receiving the Ultimate Choice Award.
"But," says Bob Bain, executive producer of the show, "if at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon she calls and says, 'I've changed my mind,' we will figure it out and make it happen."
So, what's up with Twilight? Plus, did the Jonas Brothers, who make their debut as hosts of the show, snag President Obama to take part? Keep reading to find out...
The Jonas Brothers Are Total Fairy-Tale Creatures
Nothing really beats a good costume gag…or three.
The Jonas Brothers apparently have found the ultimate cure for on-the-road ennui: wear a silly costume.
Perhaps we should have seen this coming when Joe did that ridiculous Beyoncé video, but we still got a chuckle when we clicked onto the photo they tweeted and saw Kevin, Joe and another band member dressed as the Three Little Pigs. (Question: Does that make Miley Cyrus the Big Bad Wolf?)
(Nick, however, is absent from the photo. Why such a party pooper, bud?)
It wasn't Kev and Joe's first goofball moments of the tour, either.
This weekend, Joe was spotted looking like he'd just arrived from a DeLorean. Monday, he showed his true, juicy colors as a bunch of grapes.
And big brother Kevin got in on the action—or, got some action, as the case may be—when he posed as a baseball player who grabs his fiancé's behind! Best costume yet!
So, again, we have to ask, where's Nick's suit?
________
Yeah, Nick! Why so serious? Oh yeah. This.
Beyoncé & Glee Make Sweet Music Together
Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" just won't go away, will it?
Justin Timberlake had us laughing with his leotard-wearing rendition on Saturday Night Live. Then Joe Jonas had us cringing when he showed off some rather spastic moves to the hit dance song. And of course, there are those gazillion YouTube videos paying homage to Beyoncé's engagement ring anthem.
Now comes Glee, the new upcoming Fox dramedy from Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy.
So how does Mr. Murphy use "Single Ladies"? We'll tell you now so you don't have to wait until the episode airs on Sept. 30.
Rise 'n' Shine: New Jonas Brothers Video Takes Flight
• The new Jonas Brothers video for "Fly With Me" has landed on the Internet and features some stellar choreography. Joe may not be reprising his "Single Ladies" moves, but that stuff he does with the hat? Spectacular.
• Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson might be back together again. Given all the house calls, were they ever really apart?
• Even after starring in The Hangover, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha don't have very effective morning-after cures for a long night of drinking.
• Looks like we won't be seeing Hugh Laurie on Broadway anytime soon, unless Elton John develops House: The Musical. Hey, it could happen!
• Susan Boyle is back in Scotland with her cat, Pebbles. Of course she has a cat named Pebbles.
• The bromance between Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott has taken a major turn for the worse, but picturing Amy Adams and Emily Blunt palling around makes us feel much better about it.
• Dear Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams: You crazy newlyweds actually put together a pretty neat duet. Nice work. Love, Rise 'n' Shine
If only Reese Witherspoon had lent Bret Michaels that helmet she's wearing in Big Pic, the Tonys afterparties would have been much more eventful.
We'll protect you almost as well as that helmet if you follow us on Twitter @eonline!
Update
Fangirls, Riot Police Out in Full Force for JoBros' Taylor-Swiftless Gig
The memo on waning Jonas Brothers mania apparently has yet to reach Lima, Peru.
Riot police were called to the city's oceanfront Marriott Hotel Sunday when more than 1,000 hormonal fans took to the streets to form a tearful, shrieking and otherwise order-be-damned welcome wagon for the brothers Jonas.
"There are thousands of fans outside the hotel," Kevin, Nick and Joe wrote on their website. "The police were called in to control the crowd...Can't wait to meet everyone!"
The feeling was apparently mutual.
"We just woke up to the sounds of fans screaming downstairs outside of our hotel," the siblings added this morning. "What a great way to start off our new world tour!"
Jonas Brothers Ready to Get "Paranoid," Channel Johnny Depp
Given the bomb that was the Jonas Brothers' 3-D movie, it's understandable that the Disney dudes get a little nervous before they drop their new album.
"Paranoid," the first single from Lines, Vines and Trying Times, lands on airwaves on May 8 and kicks off what is sure to be an exhaustive campaign and concert tour leading up to the album's June 16 drop date.
The promo tour has already launched with the boys gracing the cover of the latest issue of Seventeen magazine. And no matter how they're feeling about their latest venture—anxious, excited, whatevs—they aren't afraid to share their lofty goals.
For example, in addition to making music, 19-year-old Joe Jonas wants to be one of the most sought-after actors as well as pen one of the best-selling books in history.
"I think Johnny Depp's work is really great—he always incorporates music into what he does," he says when asked to list his acting role model. "[I also want to] write a book one day, because I love to read. The Alchemist [by Paulo Coelho] is my favorite book of all time."
Even if Kevin, Nick and Joe are uncertain of what's ahead, their label thinks the album just might change the world or something, calling it "an incredible music journey" and "a veritable smorgasbord of pop and rock gems."
With promises like that, the next single will probably be called "Insomnia."

Miley, JoBros Team Up on "Disney's Version of 'We Are the World' "
The couple that stays together breaks up together is sometimes still contractually obligated to play together.
E! News has learned that Miley Cyrus is set to reteam with her ex-flame (and Mouse House coworker) Nick Jonas as part of an all-star recording session for a song called "Pass It On"—a track an inside source calls "Disney's version of 'We Are the World.' It's about kindness and passing it on."
Fellow Jonases Joe and Kevin are also among those on board for the track, which is being recorded later this week. The tune was penned by Adam Anders and Nikki Hassman, who wrote Cyrus' Hannah Montana hit "Hoedown Throwdown."
Cyrus, the JoBros and other Disney musicmakers will shoot the "Pass It On" video on Saturday.
As for those tabloid reports of a simmering feud between Miley and Nick?
"We don't hate each other," Cyrus told E! News' Ryan Seacrest today. "We really love each other. He's really cool, and I'm happy we've been able to stay friends.
"Everyone thinks that me and the Jonas Brothers have this big feud going on, and me and Nick are really close friends now. We talk all the time and he's one of my best friends."
