Jamie Kennedy Is Full of Crap
They say sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. Well, to hear a self-deprecating Jamie Kennedy tell it, sometimes it's just the opposite.
While appearing on the Halloween edition of the Bonnie Hunt Show Friday, Jamie jokingly recalled how his eventual relationship with Jennifer Love Hewitt didn't seem to have a ghost of a chance.
"The first time I met her I was at a party with Jerry O'Connell and I asked him, 'Who's that girl?' He said, 'That's J. Love,' and I said, 'She's really hot,' and he said, 'She's 16,' and I was like, ah crap.
"Then, a couple years later, I went to TRL to promote a movie and I went to go talk to her, but then Carson Daly came out and put his arm around her and I went, ah crap.
"Then a couple years after that I went to Starbucks and I went to talk to her and John Mayer came up and grabbed her ass, and I was like, ah crap.
"And now, at night when we're in bed together, we lay and she turns and looks at me and goes, ah crap."
Aww. Ain't, um, love, grand?

Derek Hough: Shannon Elizabeth's Still "My Girl"
In addition to hefty gift bags, last night's ET/People partygoers got a little extra love from Mary J. Blige. The singer performed at the Emmy bash, held at the Vibiana, while Samantha Ronson worked the turntables.
Dancing With the Stars' Derek Hough came sans ex-girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth, who he got cozy with Friday at the Family Guy pre-Emmy party.
"We're still really great friends," he explained to me. "We go out, we hang out. She's my girl, man, and I still love her to death and we remain friends."
But it doesn't sound like a reconciliation is in the works...
Hewitt & Kennedy: Their Bosses Speak Out!
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy can't seem to get enough of each other.
But doesn't playing together on- and offscreen ever become draining for the couple?
Rise 'n' Shine: Shia LaBeouf Transforms Into a Director
• Shia LaBeouf tries his one good hand at becoming a music video director and the result looks lifted straight out of 8 Mile. What say you?
• Once he's done judging American Idol and before he hands out the next America's Best Dance Crew trophy, Randy Jackson is going to try to be a lot like Tori Spelling. We wouldn't joke about something like this.
• First Jessica Simpson follows Jennifer Love Hewitt's John Mayer-dating footsteps, but now their roles are reversed. J.Love is romancing the idea of a country album.
• As if you didn't see this one coming. Leonardo DiCaprio supposedly has already started taking voice lessons so he can say he did it his way if/when Martin Scorsese casts him as Frank Sinatra.
• We really hope Anna Faris texts us next.
• Dear Chris Pine: Heed our warning—don't do it. We know you don't want to deal with Justin Bobby baggage. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Sean Penn Put In His Place
Sean Penn already knows how difficult he makes it to appreciate him. Luckily, it's not nearly as difficult to cast him.
Continuing his post-Oscar, postseparation acting windfall, Penn is in talks to star in This Must Be the Place, according to Variety.
Not one to fall prey to typecasting, this time around Penn plays a wealthy and increasingly bored, retired rock star who decides to set out to find the Nazi war criminal responsible for executing his father.
The not-so-feel-good film marks the English-language debut of Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, who also penned the script.

J.Love & Jamie Kennedy: We Are Family
Jamie Kennedy is playing games with girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother. And Hewitt doesn't care.
“I go over to her mom’s house to play charades,” Kennedy told us at the LG Rumor2 party the other night. “I’m dead serious. It’s really true.”
Things are going so well for the real-life Ghost Whisperer lovebirds that they've been spending a lot of time with each other's families.
“Jennifer’s brother, Todd, gave me his blessing,” Kennedy boasted. “That’s pretty exciting!”
Hewitt and the funnyman recently made a trip east to Pennsylvania to visit his brood...
J.Love and Jamie Screw Each Other in NYC
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy did some shopping the other day at Cartier in New York City.
No, the real-life Ghost Whisperer couple weren't shopping for wedding bands. They bought matching Love Bracelets from the legendary French jewelry house, according to a source.
They even used the tiny screwdriver that comes with each bracelet to fasten them onto their wrists, which has come to symbolize a couple's commitment to each other.
"They then went to Philadelphia to see Jamie's family," the source tells E! News.
And wait till you hear what Hewitt has been doing at some of Kennedy's comedy shows…
Jamie Kennedy: J.Love Is "The Hottest in the Business"
Looks like it doesn't get any better for funnyman Jamie Kennedy, who has found his dream girl in the form of Jennifer Love Hewitt.
At the premiere of his new movie, Finding Bliss, Jamie sounded off on what he thinks of his new girl.
"The hottest in the business," he said. "She looks amazing!"
We can't really argue with that. So how long has he had his eye on J.Love?
Jennifer Love Hewitt Nurses Jamie Kennedy Back to Good Health
Nothing says you're officially a Hollywood couple like walking a red carpet together.
Ghost Whisperer costars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy did just that yesterday when they made their first public appearance as lovebirds at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
"I was excited to be her plus-one," Kennedy told me backstage. "I am Jennifer Love Hewitt's plus-one."
Kennedy also thanked his real-life leading lady for helping him get through his recent hospital stay for kidney stones. "I'm feeling very good," he said. "She nursed me back to health."
Hewitt added, "He's a tough cookie."

Jamie Kennedy Recovering from Kidney Stones
Jamie Kennedy always said he had stones. He just failed to mention that they were of the kidney variety.
The lucky in Love star met his health match last week when, while vacationing with Ghost Whisperer costar turned real-life leading lady Jennifer Love Hewitt, he fell prey to the painful medical malady.
While the 38-year-old first felt sick on Tuesday of last week, it was enough to send him and Hewitt back to Los Angeles the following morning, where, according to his rep, the comic immediately checked into a hospital.
"He felt better later in the day and went home, but on Thursday he started hurting again and he went back to the hospital," a source told People, adding that the star is now "on the mend" and under the care of his new better half.
"He's just home and feeling better."
In other words, those kidney stones can consider themselves X'ed.
Jamie Kennedy Puts the Love in Jennifer Hewitt
Looks like all those whispers of a relationship were actually rooted in this world after all.
Jamie Kennedy has revealed that he and his Ghost Whisperer costar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, are indeed together.
"Yes, we are dating," he confessed to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show Friday, after initially dodging Ryan's inquiries. "We're more than dating, we're more than in love."
Oh, but the gushing didn't stop there…
90210's AnnaLynne & Kellan Moon Over Twilight and Each Other
Despite their best efforts to play it cool, 90210 stars AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz are, without a doubt, a couple.
"AnnaLynne was kissing the back of his neck, and they were all over each other," an eyewitness tells E! News of their Valentine's Day behavior at Cain Luxe club. "They are definitely not just friends."
Not surprisingly, when E! News caught up with the pair a few hours earlier at the Monarchy show during New York Fashion Week, they sang an entirely different tune.
"Well, Kellan and I have known each other for a very long time," was pretty much all the former Nip/Tuck starlet had to say on the matter.
"Yeah, my friend," Lutz insisted when we asked the nature of his relationship. But then he went on…and on.
"You know, we're really close and we're all for each other's careers. And we actually bounce a lot of career choices and the like off each other, so it's nice to have someone in the industry who you can really, you know, be honest with versus your agent, versus your manager, the lawyer, who really want to do stuff for the money and for the wrong reasons a lot of times. So it's nice to have friends who are smart and intelligent who know the business side of the business. That's what AnnaLynne is. Therefore we're friends."
Methinks the dude doth protest too much!
Both actors, however, are in total agreement regarding their excitement about the Twilight sequel, New Moon...
