• Kate Plus Ratings Stunt: What could the world possibly need more of than more Gosselin drama? Nothing! That's what TLC seems to believe, as they are milking the current national obsession with a new one-hour special called Kate: Her Story. NBC's Natalie Morales will sit down with Kate Gosselin for Kate's "most intimate interview to date." It airs Monday, and eight new episodes of Jon & Kate Plus Eight begin Nov. 9.
• Paula Found! While Nigel Lythgoe was putting out a Jesus chair for Paula Abdul on last night's So You Think You Can Dance, we tracked down Paula across town at the Rock the Casbah charity gala, where she explained: "I'm quite busy, flying all over the place. I'm getting back to my roots and being a creative soul." She then added, "Stay tuned and you will hear that announcement…You will see me on television soon."
• No Jennifer Aniston Talk Show: Despite the New York Post report that Jennifer Aniston will be doing her own weekly show on Oprah's new cable channel OWN, Jen's rep tells us: "Completely false. She has no plans for a talk show."
• New Lost Regular! Executive Producer Damon Lindelof tells USA Today: "Yeah, Lapidus is defintiely a series regular this season. Jeff Fahey was just a recurring character up through last year. Now, whether Lapidus makes it until the end of the season is anyone's guess, but he's defintely one of the A Team this year." Lindelof also says there is no premiere date yet for the new season, and it's possible the show could move from Wednesdays to another night.
Matthew in Seattle: Kristin, Did you see that Maggie Grace is returning to Lost? Was she the holdout you were talking about? It seems like she said no at first (because she was shooting movies) but now changed her mind and they are going to insert her into previously shot scenes.

I heard this really stupid tidbit, that in an effort to save the environment, Jennifer Aniston takes a three-minute shower in which she also brushes her teeth. Is this even possible? What other stupid things to celebs do to be "green"?

What other? Hmmm. Selena Gomez recently announced that her yet-to-debut clothing line will be as green as can be. That may not fall under the category of "crazy," but by law anything that Gomez does is certifiably adorable.
If you're looking for celebrities closer to just plain certifiable, sure, I have some examples, including a rock icon who sells renewable grocery bags—at his concerts...

The world simply cannot go on if Jennifer Aniston is single.
Since she's not really dating her Bounty costar Gerard Butler anymore—was she ever?—it's time to assume the 40-year-old is ready to go backwards and rekindle her romance with John Mayer.
If the new cover of OK! magazine is to be believed, she's confirmed "He's Mine!" and they're totally back to being "full-time lovers." And she got the 32-year-old "Who Says" singer back by doing exactly what any dating guru (or six-year-old) would advise: by playing hard to get.
The mag even claims the two are plotting a baby, because what would a Jen Aniston story be without the pitter-patter of tiny feet?
Revelations of the reunion of the crooner and the cougar aren't new. People and Us have quoted sources calling them "great friends," but reported recent hotel stays in the same breath.

Is it time the public (OK, mostly media) to stop dragging out this whole Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie-Jennifer Aniston faux love triangle? Jen got dumped for another girl—big deal, happens all the time and certainly in more places than just Hollywood.
But then that means we can't poke Jen with the lonely jabs anymore, huh?
Well, according to our supertight Brangelina and Jen pal, all of us are the only ones who never got over the famous 2005 dumping.
"Angelina really couldn't care less," fesses our source tight with the Pitt-Jolie brood, when we asked what would happen if Jen and Angie had a casual run-in.
"And Jennifer really has moved on. I promise you this."

Gerard Butler Not Dating Jen Aniston, Hates Dieting
Gerard Butler is just like us...he loves his carbs and hates dieting.
At the premiere of Law Abiding Citizen, his new movie featuring many shirtless scenes, the hot Scot told us what he gives up to get his body camera-ready.
"I wanna eat my potatoes and French fries and sponge cakes," he moaned to E! News. "When I play a role like this, I can't have my carbs and it makes me crazy."
We hear you, girlfriend!
You know who else is a healthy eater? His Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston, who he insists is just a BFF.
"I love her to death," he told E! News. "She's the coolest and she's become a great friend, but there's nothing going on. And if there was, I'd be happy to say it!"

Too bad George Clooney has a new Italian girlfriend.
Matchmaker Steven Ward from VH1's Tough Love thinks George would be good for Jennifer Aniston to date.
"I think every guy since Brad has always been a little bit or significantly younger than her," he said at ET and People mag's Emmys afterparty. "I don't know if she'd have any chemistry with someone like George Clooney, but definitely someone's who a bit older and more established and has his act together."
And despite her perennial single-girl status, he thinks Jen's not in a committed relationship by choice...

Has Jennifer Aniston started a trend that isn't her damn haircut? Hanging around unavailable men is the new postdumped way to behave in H'wood, à la Aniston. Oh no?
Then explain recently separated Robin Wright Penn traveling back from Toronto to L.A. on the same flight as Keanu Reeves. The two costars of the Brad Pitt-produced flick Private Lives of Pippa Lee, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, got close and personal on the five-hour flight back.
"They checked in at the airport together and then sat next to each other in first class on the plane," an eyewitness tells us. "They were smiling and seemed happy, but they were both wearing hats and seemed like they didn't want to be recognized."
So does this mean Robin's totally over sleazy ex-hubby Sean Penn?

Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Love the Same Thing
Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler have a shared passion.
The Love Happens star revealed this Thursday during her appearance on Chelsea Lately. But first, the pair also found they share a mutual dislike: pesky paparazzi.
"It's a horrible feeling—they ambush you," Aniston told Chelsea of her experience with the photogs, who had camped outside the Chelsea Lately studio since the early morning hours awaiting Aniston's arrival.
And what do they both adore? Vodka.
Aniston revealed it's her drink of choice, because it has "no sugar" and helps her keep her figure.

Can a Lawsuit Stop That New Jen Aniston Flick?

Can anyone really stop the mighty Jennifer Aniston from releasing her new movie on time?

The Aniston may wield all sorts of clout in this country—but it's a studio, not a star, that usually dictates when you get to see a film.
And that includes Love Happens, the Aniston-Aaron Eckhart flick that Universal is trying to release, despite an 11th-hour lawsuit from two writers who say the studio stole their script. The writers want a federal judge to halt the release or just, you know, maybe give them $100 million.
If that demand sounds like a joke, wait till you hear what my lawyer friends are saying about the rest of the suit...
