Which Iron Man 2 Star Is Sexier: ScarJo or RDJ?

More from The Awful Truth

Next year's obvious blockbuster hit Iron Man 2 is already deep into filming, and tons of new stills have just been released.

The most tummy-yummy so far? Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson, obviously (sorry Gwyneth Paltrow). These two are supergorge but have totally different appeals going for them.

Take RDJ—back from career hell and dee-lish again in a rugged way. He's struggled with a lot, including rehab, and has reattached himself to Hollywood's A-list. ScarJo, on the other hand, has arguably had everything handed to her—albeit because of her own talents and moxie. But she's got the perfectly good-looking spouse, a non-Lohan-esque career and boobs to die for!

What type of sexy do you prefer?

Cruise, Reynolds and Gyllenhaal: Hot for Coldplay

More from Marc Malkin

The stars were shining at Coldplay's Saturday-night concert at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Spotted backstage coming and going throughout the show and at the VIP afterparty were Tom Cruise, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ginnifer Goodwin and, of course, frontman Chris Martin's wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

Meanwhile, director Jon Favreau hosted the Iron Man sequel wrap party last night for about 400 people at new celeb hot spot Playhouse in Hollywood.

Favreau spent most of the night playing DJ. No surprise, but "he played a ton of Michael Jackson," according to one partygoer.

The flick's cast wasn't spotted at the bash, but that's no biggie. Big wrap parties are more for the crew than the stars.

And remember last week how I told you that it appears Vanessa Minnillo is getting along just fine since her split from Nick Lachey? Well, Mr. Lachey is doing OK, too. He was seen yesterday afternoon hanging with a group of four girls and two guys at the Water Club's pool in Atlantic City.

A source said, "Nick was very friendly and left a nice big tip."

We also just spotted a shirtless Ryan Phillippe out and about. For a look at his smokin' bod, check out the Big Picture gallery.

Saturn Awards Keep Spotlight on The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight Warner Bros. Pictures

The Oscars have been awarded and DVD sales have already gone through the roof. But in the alternate reality known as Hollywood, it's never too late to bestow yet more hardware on the best films.

The Dark Knight had a leading five wins, including one for Best Action-Adventure Thriller, at the 35th Annual Saturn Awards, presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.

Heath Ledger was again honored posthumously as Best Supporting Actor, and the Batman sequel also took trophies for its score, script and special effects.

The CGI-enhanced Iron Man won three Saturns, as did The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which beat out Twilight as Best Fantasy Film.

Tilda Swinton was the supporting actress of choice for Benjamin Button, while Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr. and Changeling's Angelina Jolie were honored for their leading roles.

On the small-screen side, Battlestar Galactica was top syndicated or cable series and Lost was named Best TV Series overall.

First Look: Rourke Gets Whiplash in Iron Man 2

Mickey Rourke, Whiplash, Iron Man 2 Paramount Pictures

The Wrestler has traded in his staples for some far heavier metal.

Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau has released the first on-set photo of Mickey Rourke clad in the gear that makes him the nefarious Whiplash, just one of the villains Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man will be battling in the upcoming sequel.

So far, we seem to be looking at half an orange prison jumpsuit, leather-and-iron arm braces and a heart-protecting electromagnet in his chest, like the one Tony Stark uses to keep the shrapnel at bay.

Rourke's less mechanical alter ego being Russian tech whiz Ivan Vanko, the tats he sports include several Russian phrases.

The eagerly awaited second chapter of the comic-book saga is due in theaters May 7, 2010.

Twitterverses: Miley's Brother on Beer and Babes

Trace Cyrus Twitter Page twitter.com/TraceCyrus

Miley Cyrus' 20-year-old brother, Trace Cyrus, is on tour with his band, Metro Station, and doing all the kinds of things you expect the rebel Cyrus to do when he's a gazillion miles from his family: "So yeah. Beer is gross to me. Even Japanese beer. But I opened it so I must finish! Plus it's legal to drink here! So why not? Right." He's also diggin' the locals: "Japanese girls... Agh!! God must of felt very giving when making you. As my old man would say.. Can I get a amen!?"

If Denise Richards' hair color is looking a bit off, here's why: "my house has copper plumbing.my daughters hair and mine is turning green..we've tried everything."

Christina Applegate doesn't write often, but when she does, it's a burst of joy and sweetness: "Rode on the back of a scooter through a very busy and beautiful city last night. It was thrilling. How is everyone today?"

Martha Stewart has some interesting neighbors: "This Baby Camel was born down the street from me yesterday at my friends the Steinharts."

Jon Favreau is rather proud of his Iron Man 2 casting: "Scarlett [Johansson] kicked ass yesterday. All of her preparation has really paid off. She has a great work ethic. A real pro."

Danny Masterson wants to be a casting director: " Can someone please make a movie starring tina fey and bonnie hunt! Id pay 2 watch them drink coffee 2gether......"

Tim Gunn Gets a Shiny New (Iron Man) Suit

Tim Gunn, Iron Man, Marvel Comic Phil Jimenez/Marvel Entertainment

Only a few good men can make a metal suit look dashing—just ask Tim Gunn.

The Project Runway mentor will be donning a dapper Iron Man suit in a new comic miniseries called Models Inc., set to debut Aug. 26.

According to the New York Times, the first book takes place during New York Fashion Week. After runway models Mary Jane (yes, Peter Parker's Mary Jane) and Patsy Walker (alias: Hellcat) team up to clear Millicent Collins (aka Millie the Model) of murdering a set designer, the fashion guru borrows Robert Downey Jr.'s shiny supersuit to save the day and guide the designer's ladies.

"I'm not certain of the particulars of how I'll be portrayed," Gunn told the Times, admitting he remembers Millicent's comics, which bowed in 1945, because she was a model. "To say I'm a character in a comic book is wild!"

The silver fox is in good company—Eminem recently battled the Punisher, and President Barack Obama teamed with Spider-Man just in time for the inauguration.

Terrence Howard to Iron Man 2: Karma's a Bitch!

Terrence Howard, Iron Man Paramount Pictures

Safe to say Terrence Howard is still pissed about being bounced from Iron Man 2.

The Oscar-nominated star played superhero sidekick Lt. Col. James Rhodes opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the original blockbuster. But then his Marvel bosses replaced Howard with Don Cheadle after a salary dispute.

"Marvel made a choice, and it was a very, very bad choice. They didn't keep their word. They didn't honor my contract," Howard tells Parade magazine. "They produced a great bounty with the first one but they put it all in the storehouse and you were not allowed in.

"They did the same thing with Gwyneth Paltrow, from what I've been told. They did with almost everyone except Robert Downey. One of the things that actors need to learn to do is always stick together, one for all and all for one."

But he's not bitter or anything...

ScarJo Chews Up Media Over Superhero Diet

Scarlett Johansson Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images
More from Marc Malkin

Scarlett Johansson has no problem admitting that she's working out and cleaning up her diet like never before. After all, she plans to look good in a latex catsuit for her new superhero role in the Iron Man sequel.

She does, however, insist that her ways of shaping up—and the results—are not as drastic as some tabloids would like you to believe.

"Claims have been made that I've been on a strict workout routine regulated by costars, whipped into shape by trainers I've never met, eating sprouted grains I can't pronounce," Johansson writes on the Huffington Post.

In order to truly lose the 14 pounds hyped by the media, "I'd have to part with both arms. And a foot," she writes....

Robert Downey Jr. Gives Lowdown on Iron Man 2

Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke Zade Rosenthal/Marvel Entertainment/Paramount Pictures, Victor Zunino Celotta/ Getty Images, Todd Williamson/Getty Images

Iron Man is rocketing back into action on Monday, and Robert Downey Jr. is already sizing up his new nemesis: Mickey Rourke.

“Hell yeah, I've been ready for him!” Downey tells E!'s Daily 10, insisting that all the drama with The Wrestler star will be onscreen.

“We're not going to fight. We have to make a movie! Nobody fights in Hollywood.”

Downey, who reports that Scarlett Johansson has gotten buff to play Black Widow, also says he's sorry to see former costar Terrence Howard go, even though he can't wait to act opposite Howard's replacement, Don Cheadle.

“The weird thing is it's hard to discuss it without being disrespectful to both of them,” says Downey. “Terrence knows how much I love him, and I'm looking forward to making it work with Don.”

Iron Man 2 , also costarring Gwyneth Paltrow and directed by Jon Favreau, is slated for release on May 7, 2010.

HSM3 Dominates, Miley Cries at Slimy Kids' Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus Jason DeCrow/AP Images for Nickelodeon

It wouldn't be an awards show if a winner didn't cry.

While the 22nd Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards had few of the same ingredients of an Oscars or Grammys telecast, Miley Cyrus made sure the tradition stayed alive.

After shouldering losses for everything else with her name attached—Selena Gomez took the slimefest's Favorite TV Actress gong and iCarly swiped Favorite TV Show out from underneath Hannah Montana—the starlet scored a win for Favorite Female Singer. Despite having taken home the orange Blimp in the same category last year, she got surprisingly choked up.

"I really thought I was going to lose, so thank you, guys," she wept.

Those High School Musical kids—Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu, to be precise—were considerably more cheerful. The graduating class of East High took home one of the event's highest honors, Favorite Movie, beating out the likes of Iron Man and The Dark Knight. High School Musical 3: Senior Year's prom queen, Hudgens, also took home Favorite Female Movie Star.

Sadly, the Wildcats, as well as the "Climb" singer, managed to walk away from the Pauley Pavilion on UCLA's campus completely slime-free. Many others were not so lucky...

Scarlett Johansson is joining the superhero set.

Her rep confirms that the actress has signed on to play Black Widow in the Iron Man sequel opposite Robert Downey Jr. The deal was signed this afternoon.

"Scarlett is thrilled to be a part of Iron Man," her rep, Marcel Pariseau, tells me.

Meanwhile, after months of negotiations...

The Wrestler's comeback kid, Mickey Rourke, has finally sealed a deal to play villain Whiplash, according to Variety.

Rourke's team had reportedly held out for more money after Marvel's initial offer was just $250,000.

Scheduled for a May 2010 release, part two of the franchise will also include Gwyneth Paltrow returning as Pepper Potts, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Don Cheadle playing Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes.
