Stephen Moyer on True Blood Love: Anna Doesn't Take My Nonsense

Stephen Moyer didn't need a red carpet to see stars tonight.

The very-much-in-love True Blood star had far more to say about his "very funny and very frank and very direct and beautiful" costar and fiancée, Anna Paquin, than he did about any of the Emmy nominees.

"Firstly, I fell in love with her talent," Moyer told E! News while walking the carpet outside Los Angeles' Staples Center. "We were actually improvising and trying stuff, [like] 'It doesn't work this way, let's do it another way,' and so immediately I was very excited about that.

"And then after a few weeks, we'd finished working and I was back in London and she was in New York and I really, really missed her..."

It was then he knew she was the one.

And what about that proposal?

Dethroned Miss Nevada Peeved by Miss California "Double Standard"

There once was a beauty queen who took naughty pictures and, some years later, did not get to keep her crown.

Despite the magnanimity shown to Miss California Carrie Prejean, Katie Rees—Miss Nevada 2007—was out of luck when racy pics of her showed up after she won her title.

And she's none too happy about what she perceives to be a "huge double standard."

"Semi-nude photos are semi-nude photos," she told E! News, comparing the topless lingerie pics of Prejean with her own shots, which featured a 17-year-old Rees baring a breast, flashing her thong and doing her best Katy Perry impression.

Miss Universe Organization honcho Donald Trump deemed the photos inappropriate and stripped Rees of her Miss Nevada USA title in December 2006.

And this isn't the first time since that Rees has spoken out in opposition to the less harsh treatment doled out to some of her pageant peers.

Jennifer Garner isn't a starter wife, but she's now the mistress of a very large family home.

The actress and hubby Ben Affleck have snatched über-producer Brian Grazer's Pacific Palisades mansion off the market for the reported bargain price of...less than $20 million, E! News has learned.

The nine-bedroom, 14-bathroom house sitting on an acre of land in the tony Southern California community was originally listed for $27 million, and at some point the asking price was lowered to $24 million.

According to a source, the hard-bargain-driving Affleck family inquired about buying the existing furniture as well as the walls around it, but the insider couldn't confirm that the additional transaction had taken place.

Regardless, Affleck and Garner's princessian daughters, 3-year-old Violet and 4-month-old Seraphina Rose, should have plenty of space to roam. Their new playground boasts a gym and a pool, plus a billiards room, crafts room, screening room and two-bedroom guest suite.
