Score one for Kate Gosselin.

The blonder half of reality TV's favorite estranged spouses won a major victory during this morning's court showdown on the couple's disputed money matters.

Judge Arthur R. Tilson has ordered Jon Gosselin to return $180,000 of the $235,000 he withdrew from the bank without the missus' permission—a big violation of a previous arbitration ruling.

"Mr. Gosselin must repay this sum on or before Oct. 26," Kate's attorney, Mark Momjian, said in a statement to E! News. "If he fails to do so, he must appear before the court for contempt proceedings.

"The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date."

But Kate might also have to cough up some cash...

Jon Gosselin INFphoto.com

You may have heard the sad news. Despite all the dating, partying and Kate-dissing, Jon Gosselin is not a happy man. To hear one website tell it, he's downright blue.

"Jon Gosselin Suicide Bombshell: 'I Want to Kill Myself,' " goes the headline at the always-understated RadarOnline.com. The shocking development was provided by none other than Gosselin himself the mother of his former babysitter.

With rock-solid sourcing like that, we were just about to call the hotline and send some help to poor Jon. Then we heard back from his rep, who exclusively tells E! News:

"It's sad that a mother has time to go give an interview about a conversation she overheard. Jon is happy and enjoying his life. He's strong and getting by day by day, and he would never leave his kids. Jon's happy and has a lot of great projects in the works. He has never tried to kill himself. He definitely doesn't want to kill himself."

And Team Jon has a theory behind the trumped-up, thirdhand suicide claim...

Kanye Busted for Airport Bust-Up

Kanye West Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Kanye West apparently didn't like playing candid camera. Now he's in police custody for punking some paparazzi.

Police confirm that the rapper was arrested this morning at Los Angeles International Airport following an altercation with photographers.

The shutterbugged West, 31, faced off with several cameramen in the American Airlines terminal at 7:51 a.m. while en route to boarding a flight to Honolulu. He allegedly smashed an offending video camera, valued at $10,000, and wound up getting arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, says airport spokesman Marshall Lowe.

West's road manager, Don Crowley, was also collared for felony vandalism. While police were originally informed that a potential battery had also taken place, an initial investigation determined that no battery occurred.

An eyewitness describes to the scene to E! News: "Some time before 8, Kanye and a big posse arrived at the terminal. He got out and a bunch of paparazzi were swirling around him...

Bonjour for Brangelina Birth?

Brangelia may soon be on the move.

Two weeks after debuting an apparent baby bump on the red carpet of the Spirit Awards, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are working on a top-secret birth plan.

The couple, who famously decamped to Namibia in 2006 for the birth of their first biological baby, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, are now plotting to escape to the French Riviera for their next stork delivery, E! News has learned.

A source close to the couple tells E! News that the Brangelina brood will hunker down in the south of France, the adopted country of her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, where Jolie plans to give birth and spend her initial postpartum months.

"They want to be in France by the summer," says the source. (It's uncertain whether they will make their move permanent.)

Both Pitt and Jolie have been working to "clear their schedules" so they can focus on the pregnancy, the source added.

Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, said she was unaware of such plans and declined to comment.

Jolie and Pitt moved into Africa for the birth of Shiloh, setting up shop at Namibia's luxury Burning Shore Beach Lodge, where bodyguards and local officials helped keep paparazzi at bay.

The couple has yet to officially announce the latest prengancy. The Jolie-Pitt brood currently numbers four: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, who turns 2 in May.

Britney Committed

For the second time in a month. Britney Spears has been taken from her home and forcibly admitted to a hospital.

A source close to the Spears family told E! News that the singer was due to be evaluated at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

"Britney was a threat to herself," another source told E! News. "She's finally been committed."

"She has been out of control and not listening to anyone, totally uncontrollable and was worrying everyone by not taking any medication. She hasn't slept in three days."

Manager Sam Lutfi alerted Spears' psychiatrist, who made the call to get her in care, according to the source. Lutfi was said to be key in making it happen, even over the objections of the singer's recently reunited mother, Lynne.

"The scene inside the house was chaos," the insider continued. "Lynne was shouting at police. She didn't want them to take Britney away at first. It was a zoo."

Police confirmed that officers were at the Spears house but declined to comment on what went down.

About 1:14 a.m. Thursday, a convoy of emergency vehicles, led by the Spears-hauling ambulance, left the singer's home and exited through a side entrance of the gated Beverly Hills community known as the Summit. At least a dozen Los Angeles Police Department  motorcycles and  squad cars followed, trailed by Spears' family and friends and the requisite caravan of paparazzi, as the "Toxic" singer was transported to UCLA Medical Center.

Lynne Spears was spotted in the passenger seat of an SUV; Britney's boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, sat in the rear seat. The vehicle was driven by Lynne's friend Jackie. Father Jamie Spears arrived separately, as did longtime friend Alli Sims and Lutfi.

"Lynne looked very distraught and was crying," an insider told E! News of her arrival at the hospital around 1:30. "She was very upset."

By 1:58 a.m., Spears was admitted on a 5150 hold, meaning she will be held in the psych ward for up to 72 hours.

While the parents, Ghalib and Sims were allowed into the facility, a family source tells E! News that Lutfi was initially denied entry to the waiting area at the request of the family. By 2:30 a.m., however, he was allowed inside.

While it's unclear if any one event sparked the latest meltdown, Spears and Ghalib were together at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier in the evening but left the premises at 7:25 p.m. and headed back to the singer's home in the Summit. A source told E! News that approximately two hours later, with Ghalib still at the house, Spears and Lutfi got into an argument in one of the bathrooms in her home.

At roughly 10:37 p.m., an LAPD helicopter was seen hovering over the home, shining a light on the grounds. Just after 11, Lynne entered the gated community. An hour and a half later, at 12:30 a.m., Sims arrived. Just 44 minutes later, an ambulance arrived on the scene.

Spears' father, Jamie, did not go to Spears' home, rather he drove directly to the hospital, joining the group around 2 a.m.

The unlikely quintet previously assembled Monday night, when they confronted the Blackout artist and urged her to get treatment for what they believe is a bipolar condition.

Spears' family, friends and lawyers have told her that keeping the condition in check is the only way the troubled 26-year-old will win back shared custody of her sons with Kevin Federline.

Spears hasn't seen Sean Preston, 2, or Jayden James, 1, since Jan. 3, when she wound up being hospitalized following a bizarre standoff with police. Last week, the court commissioner overseeing the custody spat gave Spears permission to call the boys. The next hearing in the case is Feb. 4.

Last Friday, after speaking with mother Lynne for the first time in more than a month, Spears was spotted entering the Santa Monica office of a psychiatrist. Lutfi recapped the visit to The View's Barbara Walters on Monday, acknowledging Spears suffered from "mental issues, which are treatable."

Indications were that Spears had been regularly seeing a therapist and taking her meds in recent days but still had not admitted to having any problem.

"She's so unpredictable. No one trusts she'll stay on it," a Spears confidant told E! News early Wednesday. "And she has to, or else what's the point? It won't work."

Britney's Quiz Show

This time around, Britney Spears apparently had plenty to talk about.

Spears spent more than two hours Monday being grilled by Kevin Federline's lawyer as part of her deposition in the dueling exes' ongoing custody case.

Accompanied by manager Sam Lutfi, the Blackout singer's familiar SL65 Mercedes-Benz appeared at the Century City offices of Mark Vincent Kaplan about 10:40 a.m.

She was seen exiting shortly before 1:30 p.m., with one witness telling E! News "Britney left the office with a blank expression on her face."

She and Lutfi retrieved the Benz from a valet, cut through some narrow alleys around Beverly Hills and headed back to her home, where she remained as of early Monday evening.

A source close to Federline described Spears as "cooperative" but declined to comment on the nature of her remarks. A source in the Spears camp said that Britney is "more relieved than upset" about today's proceedings.

Meanwhile, speaking exclusively to E! News, Spears pal and Danish businessman Claus Hjelmbak, who recently booked Britney to host his Scandinavian Style Mansion next month, credited Lutfi as a calming influence during her testimony.

"Britney professionally and bravely attended her deposition with dignity and class. I'm absolutely thrilled to see how the world is is now opening its eyes and seeing the caring, wonderful person that she is and as someone who takes her responsibilities seriously," Hjelmbak said.

"Fittingly, Sam Lutfi was by her side, and he is very much a key in her rise back to the top of her game."

Kaplan's office did not immediately comment on the Monday summit.

But the attorney was expected to quiz the 26-year-old ex-Mouseketeer on her fitness as a parent, her past drug use, her sometimes erratic behavior and other aspects of life that may affect her ability to parent her and Federline's sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

This was Spears' second go-round with the attorney. She logged all of 14 minutes answering his questions on Jan. 3—just hours before the bizarro custody standoff that resulted in her losing the existing visitation she had with the boys.

Sources told E! News that Spears is expected to attend at least one more session at Kaplan's office this week. A handful of other depositions, including former bodyguard Tony Barretto, will take place either this week or next.

The Spears sitdown was ordered by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon, who issued an ultimatum after she bailed on several previous depo appointments.

The attorney has already queried several Spears compatriots, including sidekick Alli Sims, former manager Larry Rudolph and former bodyguard Daimon Shippen.

Spears and Federline's custody battle heads back to court on Feb. 19, when the singer is expected to request restoration of her visits with the children.
