Did they meet him halfway? We may never care know.

The slur-happy Perez Hilton has settled his civil suit against the Black Eyed Peas' punch-happy tour manager, Liborio Molina. The terms of the deal will remain confidential, though as part of the arrangement, Molina, who has already apologized for the incident, will make a donation to a charity of the gossipmonger's choice.

Hilton alleged battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress last summer after a scuffle broke out over differing opinions on the quality of the Peas' latest—and incidentally Grammy-winning—release, The E.N.D. He was seeking a minimum of $25,000 in damages.

Which will no doubt fund the placement of a lot of cartoon genitalia. So really, everyone wins.

Neither side officially commented on the settlement, though Hilton's attorney said his client was "ecstatic" with the deal.

Suing the pants off an international tabloid, cheering your team on to victory, engaging in rumor-breaking PDA, visiting survivors of the worst natural disaster in a nation's history…such is a week in the life of Angelina Jolie.

Fresh off her Saints' Super Bowl win, Brad Pitt's other half zipped down to the Dominican Republic yesterday in her role as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. There's no word on how long Jolie's trip will last, but so far her itinerary has included visiting with displaced survivors of the still-devastating Haitian earthquake in the pediatric wing of Santo Domingo's Dario Contreras Hospital and meeting up with Dominican president Leonel Fernandez.

Not bad for day one. Jolie, who along with Pitt donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, is expected to arrive in Port-au-Prince today. And that's something not even we can snark on.

Conrad Murray already entered his plea in the court of public opinion. Today, he reiterated his claim of innocence in a more official forum.

Just hours after he was formally charged with involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death, and in front of many Jackson family members, the physician pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor count that could land him up to four years in prison, if convicted.

The long-awaited arraignment took place at the Airport Branch of Los Angeles Superior Court around 2 p.m.—about 45 minutes after Murray arrived to screams of "murderer" and "justice for Michael" from Jackson fans, many sporting red, sequined armbands.

The doctor is in...a big heaping wad of trouble.

After spending the past eight months since Michael Jackson's death building a case—and the past week playing will-they, won't-they with the public—Los Angeles prosecutors finally believe they have enough evidence to lay the blame on Dr. Conrad Murray.

Not to mention finally managing to keep a court date.

The district attorney formally filed a misdemeanor count of involuntary manslaughter against Murray today, blaming Jackson's personal physician with overmedicating the star with the powerful anesthetic propofol. The charge carries a maximum of four years in prison.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed suit against Britain's News of the World after the tabloid published an article last month that sparked the breakup rumor heard round the world.

The story, published Jan. 24 and since wisely removed from the newspaper's website, claimed the couple had met with a Los Angeles divorce lawyer to quietly divide their assets, hash out a custody deal and financially provide for their six children in advance of what the tab claimed was going to be a messy separation. (And which sparked speculation like this. And this. Not to mention this.)

"In light of the District Attorney's office announcement that Dr. Murray will be charged on Monday, we have canceled media access until after arraignment."

Which is exactly what happened to 23-year-old Sonny With a Chance starlet Tiffany Thornton, who, when asked at Monday night's Dear John premiere how she planned on spending her upcoming birthday, let loose with the following:

"My fiancé's gonna fly here; he lives in Arkansas, so I'm really excited." Um, fiancé?

Thornton, who was wearing her bauble on the red carpet, then confirmed that 29-year-old court officer Christopher Carney popped the question back in December. No wedding date has been set.

When the blogosphere turns on you, it's one thing. When your de facto in-laws and baby mama do, it's another. But when a late-night host refers to you as "Super Douche" on national TV, well, that's almost enough to make us feel sorry for Scott Disick.

Still, it's nice to know (as if we didn't already!) who wears the pants in Kourtney Kardashian's family—even if those pants are, by her own determination, 15 pounds off her prematernity size.
