No Peace for John Travolta, Called to Testify in Extortion Case
John Travolta can hardly be over the hell of losing his son, Jett. Now he's being asked to relive it.
Bahamian prosecutors announced today that they still intend to call Travolta as a key witness in the trial of the two people charged with trying to extort millions from the grieving family.
Prosecutors revealed the new witness list after Bahamian Senior Supreme Court Judge Anita Allen announced the case against former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne would begin on Sept. 21.
Lightbourne, 47, is accused of conspiring with his attorney, Bridgewater, 49, in a plot targeting Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. The defendants allegedly claimed to have embarrassing information regarding the circumstances of Jett's Jan. 2 death, and demanded $25 million in hush money.
Bridgewater and Lightbourne were arraigned together. Asked to enter a plea to the charges, both replied: "Absolutely not guilty."

K-Fed Lawyer: No Deal Yet on Britney Touring With Tykes
Despite Britney Spears' blog proclaiming earlier this week that Sean Preston and Jayden James will be joining her for the duration of her Circus tour, Kevin Federline's camp insists no deal is done.
"We are working toward that," K-Fed attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan exclusively tells E! News.
"There can be an agreement reached in probably the next day, but there is not an agreement that is signed yet."
Brit's Former Boy-Toy Half-Naked When Served
Talk about exposing yourself to the courts!
Adnan Ghalib was served with court papers early Saturday morning at his Burbank, Calif., house with orders to stay away from former fling Britney Spears. The paparazzo was half undressed when he was slapped with the papers…and he wasn’t alone.
“He was naked from the waist up,” a source tells E! News exclusively. “And he was back living with his estranged wife in Burbank.”
Ghalib and Azlynn Berry filed for divorce last year after four years of marriage after Ghalib's tryst with the pop tart became public. They appeared to be reunited, according to a source.
The Circus star's attorney filed for restraining orders against Ghalib, Sam Lutfi and attorney Jon Eardly on Friday, claiming they were attempting to undermine her conservatorship.
A hearing is set on the restraining orders for Feb. 23.
Ghalib did not respond to an E! News request for comment.
John Travolta Cancels Golden Globes Appearance
John Travolta isn't ready for a golden moment just yet.
Rep Samantha Mast confirms to E! News that the actor will not be in attendance at Sunday's Golden Globes.
His appearance had been in doubt since the tragic Jan. 2 death of his 16-year-old son, Jett. The news is not entirely unexpected, considering Travolta and wife Kelly Preston held a memorial service Thursday for the young man and remain at their home in Ocala, Fla.
Travolta had been scheduled to appear in support of his latest movie, Bolt, which is nominated for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for his duet with costar Miley Cyrus, "I Thought I Lost You."

Britney's Former Pal: "I Can't Talk to Her Right Now"
Britney Spears' former constant companion and sidekick Alli Sims was out in Beverly Hills today, and she told E! News exclusively that she's still forbidden from talking to the pop star.
"I can't talk to her right now," she said when asked if she was prohibited from talking to Britney by her father, Jamie Spears, and the lawyers. "Maybe that will change at some point."
Sources tell E! News that Britney's dad, who is coconservator of his daughter's affairs, will not allow Alli to have any contact with Britney. Prior to Britney's meltdown earlier this year, Sims, 27, along with Sam Lutfi, was a near-constant companion of the pop star.
Even though she hasn't been able to talk to Spears in some time, Sims still remembered it was Britney's big day.
"I hope she has a great birthday," Sims told E! News. "Happy birthday. I love you."

Neighbor: Hudson's Family Had "Domestic Issues," Other Victim Was Actress' Brother
UPDATE: Jennifer Hudson's publicist, Lisa Kasteler, has issued this statement:
"We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson. No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time."
________________________________
Hours after Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and an as-yet unidentified male were found shot to death in Donerson's Chicago home and a 7-year-old boy went missing, a next-door neighbor tells E! News that she heard gunshots Friday morning and believes that the killings are related to an ongoing domestic dispute.
Angela Russell, who lives next door to Donerson on Yale Avenue in the South Side neighborhood of Englewood, says that she thinks that Hudson's sister Julia was having domestic troubles with her husband, whom she had talked about divorcing.
Russell also says that Donerson's son stays with her, "and that is the other person that they found."
Linda Hogan Busted for Lead Foot
Nick Hogan gets out of jail Oct. 21. Apparently mother Linda was in a rush to visit him before he gets his walking papers.
The reality-TV matriarch and estranged wife of the Hulkster was cited for speeding in Florida while en route to visit her son in the clink.
"She received a traffic ticket," Pinellas County Sheriff Department Sgt. Jim Bordner tells E! News, adding that, despite some earlier reports, "she was not arrested."
Hogan was pulled over on Tampa's Bayside Bridge at about 2:52 p.m. ET Friday after her white Escalade was clocked at 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
"After stopping the car, [the deputy] identified the driver as Linda Bollea [Hogan's legal name]," says Bordner. "The deputy said she was cooperative and told him that she was on her way to visit her son." Hogan now must decide whether to fight the $206 citation. Her options, per Bordner: "She can pay the ticket, go to court or go to driver improvement school."
Commish to Brit: Pay Lawyers, Sell House
It costs a lot to take care of Britney Spears.
According to court documents released today, the "Gimme More" singer has been ordered to advance $200,000 to her conservatorship legal team to cover a portion of fees. L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz made the ruling during a Sept. 25 hearing. (Another hearing regarding the balance of Spears' legal tab is set for Oct. 28.)
In addition, Goetz also granted Spears’ father and coconservator Jamie the authority to sell her Beverly Hills-area home with the assistance of real estate agent Tomer Fridman of Ewing & Associates in Calabasas. According to the court terms, the purchase price must be equal to or exceed the value or property as appraised by the court. And if Fridman sells the house, his commission cannot exceed 5 percent of the selling price.
Earlier this month, the Spears home went on the market for an asking price of $7.9 million.
Kardashian Sister Goes Courting
Khloé Kardashian didn't exactly get a gold star today.
Kim's sister and Keeping Up With the Kardashians costar, in a Van Nuys, Calif., court for a progress hearing in DUI case, was scolded by the judge for not completing the terms of her probation in a timely fashion.
But her lawyer says Kardashian is on the way to clearing her record.
"Khloé has one class remaining to complete," attorney Shawn Chapman Holley tells E! News. "In my book, this is substantial compliance with her court-ordered requirements and demonstrates how seriously she is taking her case.
