Kevin Connolly: Jeremy Piven Has a Sense of Humor
Entourage's Kevin Connolly not only comes out for good causes, he supports his costar Jeremy Piven.
Sporting a full red beard while at an event for the Noreen Fraser Foundation for cancer at the Maloof estate in Beverly Hills Wednesday, Connolly dished about his costar Jeremy Piven, who was reportedly upset over The Piven Monologues, a theater spoof about the situation surrounding his mercury poisoning.
"I mean, Jeremy's got a good sense of humor. I'm sure if it's all in good fun he won't have a problem with it," said Connolly. "On the other hand, you know Jeremy also won his case, so maybe his producers are wrong... So maybe they should cease and whatever it is. Maybe they should just be quiet."
And why the beard? Read on for that, some Entourage dish and his thoughts on this weekend's Emmys…
Jon & Kate: Let the Custody Battle Begin
Hide the kids and get the lawyers on the horn, this thing is getting ugly.
Jon Gosselin emerged from his Pennsylvania home this morning to discuss his fight with Kate last night that had to be broken up by the cops.
Jon says his estranged wife—just back from a trip to New York to appear on Today and Live With Regis and Kelly—came to the house even though it was his turn to be with the kids.
"You know me, I don't come home when she's with the kids, because I respect her time with the kids," said Jon. "She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn’t let her in the gate. I guess she called the police, and the police came.
"They said it was a civil matter, and we would have to work it out with our attorneys," he explained. "The officer pulled me aside, and I'm like, 'This has never happened before, and I am spending time with my kids, and she's going to have to leave.' "
After the police arrived, Kate ultimately calmed down and left the grounds for a local hotel. She has yet to address the press.
So why was Kate so adamant about coming in the house while Jon was there?

Michael Jackson "Not Buried Yet," Says Father Joe
Just in case you weren't certain, Michael Jackson is "not buried yet."
Shooting down published reports (and backing up what we reported yesterday), father Joe Jackson tells E! News exclusively that his son has not already been laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Joe declined to specify any burial plans or confirm whether his son's body has been placed in Motown maven Berry Gordy's crypt as some outlets have speculated.
The Jackson patriarch, who resides primarily in Las Vegas, also tells E! News he supports a proposal to move Neverland to Vegas.
"I think Vegas would be great," says Joe. And while he doesn't think the family would visit such a shrine to his son, Joe does believe "the fans would come."
Asked about Michael's ongoing death investigation, Joe says he prefers not to discuss it, only adding, "I still can't believe he's gone."

HSM's Ashley Tisdale Has a "Hot, Good Friend"
Ashley Tisdale knows how to get over a cheating ex.
The HSM star told E!'s Daily 10 the lead single off her new album, titled "It's Alright, It's OK," is about a boyfriend who cheated on her.
"I have been cheated on before, so when you do get cheated on you're like, I am so much better without you," she says.
She adds that it's not about her most recent ex. "It wasn't about Jared (Murillo)...it was before that," says Tisdale.
When asked about recent speculation she was dating music-video director Scott Speer, Ashley tells E!'s Daily 10, "I'm not in a relationship. I'm single…but he's a good friend of mine."
"He's a really hot, good friend of mine."
Yeehaw! Jamie Lynn Spears Goes Country
Jamie Lynn Spears is looking at the Jessica Simpson model for career reinvention.
While Britney continues on her comeback tour, sources confirm to E! News that her baby sister is hoping to become the next Nashville star.
The younger Spears, who took leave of a burgeoning Hollywood career to relocate to Mississippi to raise daughter Maddie, "has been quietly working on a country album since last fall," says a source close to the family.
Although Jamie Lynn's only musical credit to date is warbling the theme song to her defunct Nickelodeon series, Zoey 101 (a tune cowritten by her more pedigreed big sister), that hasn't stopped Team Spears from "trying to get Jamie Lynn a record deal," says another insider.
Tommy Lee's Chopper Pilot Under FAA Investigation
Tommy Lee's weekend helicopter joyride is officially under investigation, the FAA tells E! News.
The authorities plan to look into pilot David Martz's actions before, during and after the Sunday flight that ended with a run-in with the LAPD at Van Nuys Airport.
"Absolutely we are going to investigate," says FAA spokesman Ian McGregor. "Over the years we have taken a number of actions against Mr. Martz for violating federal regulations."
While McGregor says he cannot comment on the pending investigation, he tells E! News this sort of matter is not taken lightly.
"We will investigate any reports that LAPD made to us," he says. "We will talk to witnesses, pilots, review air traffic control and any documentation."

Coroner: Culkin Sister Legally Drunk When Killed
The death last month of Macaulay Culkin's sister has been ruled an accident—but one that may have been avoided.
Dakota Culkin was hit and killed by a car while crossing a street in West Los Angeles on the evening of Dec. 9. The official cause of death was "blunt-force trauma," says L.A. Coroner spokesman Ed Winter.
However, the 29-year-old Culkin had a blood-alcohol level of 0.31 percent, more than three times the state legal limit of 0.08.
“It might have influenced her decision to walk into traffic,” says Winter.
No charges were filed against the driver of the vehicle that struck Culkin, a fledgling production designer.

De La Hoya Bout Draws Russell Crowe, J.Lo, More
The boxers weren't the only ones seeing stars last night.
Russell Crowe, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Eva Longoria Parker, Mario Lopez, Mark Wahlberg, Jesse Metcalf, Usher and Will.i.am were among the celebs at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night to watch the Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao fight. Though De La Hoya was favored to win, the Golden Boy lost in a technical knockout.
One star in attendance drew almost as much attention as the actual fight: Will Ferrell showed up dressed in a long mink leopard coat and white sunglasses.
"It was such a weird outfit," says an eyewitness. "Everyone was staring at him."

Jessica Simpson's BFF Injured by Paparazzi
UPDATE: Ken Paves has released the following statement on his late night run-in:
"I appreciate everyone who has expressed concern after the incident which occurred outside of Madeo restaurant Saturday evening. While I did not expect a dinner out with friends would end up with me in the emergency room and nine stitches in my head, I am fine.
"My only real concern on Saturday night, and it remains so in retrospect, was for the safety of my friend and all concerned. I understand everyone has a job to do, including paparazzi. If I were to say anything about Saturday night, it is only to encourage that everyone would respect and care for the safety of others above all else."

He's the hairstylist to the stars, but Ken Paves just took one for the team.
E! News has learned that Paves was rushed to the hospital early this morning after being injured by paparazzi while leaving a popular restaurant with Jessica Simpson and her entourage.
Audrina's Neighbors Roll Out Unwelcome Mat
The Hills aren't alive with the sound of camera crews, thanks to Audrina Patridge's neighbors.
Patridge, like her former BFF Lauren Conrad, is already a target of ire in her community, forcing limits on MTV's filming activity around her new Hollywood Dell digs.
Todd Lindgren, spokesman for FilmL.A., tells E! News that a temporary permit with notable restrictions was given to MTV’s production crew.
"A lot of the neighbors thought there were going to be trucks up there, and there is none of that,” says Lindgren. “There won’t be any cast or crew vehicles up there or equipment.”
