Is Posing Nude Ever a Good Idea for Famous Guys?
What could Levi Johnston possibly gain by posing naked for Playgirl?
—Babs G., via the Answer B!tch inbox
You mean besides money and the eternal high that comes with making Sarah Palin miserable? As the Jews might say, dayenu, that would have been enough.
For women, there are tons of reasons for posing nude: Sharon Stone said she did it for money right after appearing in Total Recall. It sure didn't hurt, given that she later went on to do stuff like Basic Instinct and Casino. We won't even begin to discuss the ongoing successes of The Girls Next Door.
But when it comes to guys who pose in adult mags, there are, generally, only two types: (1) Unknowns who, if the ploy works, graduate to sort-of knowns, and (2) bona fide celebrities who stir up noncontroversies by posing only partly in the buff.
That latter category includes a major country star married to an A-list actress, and a former teen star who has been linked to Megan Fox...
Ron Livingston Happily Married, We Presume
Glad to see Ron Livingston doesn't have Berger's commitment issues.
The 42-year-old actor, who just couldn't deal with Carrie Bradshaw's success on Sex and the City, married fellow thesp Rosemarie DeWitt last week, People reports.
They tied the knot Nov. 2 in San Francisco after more than three years of dating.
Livingston, best known for sticking it to the man in Office Space, fighting for his country in Band of Brothers and reluctantly taking the Goofy job in Swingers, met DeWitt on the set of the short-lived Fox series Standoff.
DeWitt, who was one of Don Draper's pieces on the side in the first season of Mad Men, can now be found in The United States of Tara on Showtime.

Adam Lambert: Dating? No. Clubbing? Yes!
Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, Drake LaBry, may have recently called it quits, but that doesn't mean the singer is on the market.
"I'm so busy with all this stuff and with the record that I'm really just focused on the music right now," Lambert told us last night at TV Guide magazine's Hot List Party at the SLS Hotel.
Not that he doesn't enjoy having a good time. Lambert was spotted after the TV Guide bash hanging at Hollywood's Bardot nightclub. In addition to chatting with Samantha Ronson, I'm told he appeared quite cozy with "a blond model-like guy in his thirties."
OK, now we can talk about the music...
Lou Dobbs Leaving CNN—Right Now!
Lou Dobbs is taking his gripes elsewhere.
The longtime CNN personality announced on the air Wednesday that, not only is he leaving the network, but that it would be his last show.
He's ready to "pursue new opportunities," said the 64-year-old Dobbs, who's been with CNN since its inception in 1980. His original nightly show, Moneyline, eventually morphed into his current gig, Lou Dobbs Tonight.
"I'm the last of the original anchors here on CNN, and I'm proud to have had the privilege of helping to build the world's first news network," he said.
No word on what those opportunities might be, but he said he'd let us know when he sets his course.
CNN agreed to let Dobbs out of his contract, which wasn't supposed to end until 2011.
Victim of Horrifying Chimp Attack Shows Face for the First Time on Oprah
Another heartrending get for Oprah Winfrey.
Charla Nash, whose face was destroyed by her boss' pet chimpanzee in February, revealed the extent of her injuries for the first time during an interview that aired Wednesday on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
"I don't remember anything," Nash said, speaking on what was her 56th birthday, of the attack that left her severely disfigured.
"I told the doctor that I don't want to remember because I can't imagine what it was like. If I do start remembering, getting flashbacks, they have medicine to help me with that...I want to get healthy. I don't want to wake up with nightmares."
(Video from the interview is after the jump. Please be advised that it contains graphic and disturbing images.)
See Locklear's Triumphant Return to Melrose Place
Heather Locklear really does have something goin' on. Maybe it's her 30 years of experience in series television or maybe it's that her boobs look fantastic, but whatever the source of her power, Locklear's ability to transform TV shows appears to remain entirely intact.
Heather Locklear (re)joins the cast of Melrose Place this coming Tuesday, and it looks like she still has exactly the chilly authority the CW needs to up Melrose's profile in TV land. Melrose's prospects remain realistically dim, but should Heather's arrival generate enough buzz and a moderate ratings increase, the show might live out the season and be considered for a second year. It's hard to tell what people really want from their nighttime soaps, so who's to say why the show is struggling, but Locklear's involvement is as likely as any other effort to bring about a series renewal.
Now, as for the content of these three sneak peeks, Amanda's definitely moving in to Ella's (Katie Cassidy) PR firm, but where will she live now that she's back in town? Find out:
Link Party: Meet Kim Kardashian as a Normal Person
• If Kim Kardashian didn't have her glam squad and all day to groom herself, she might look like the above photo. You can thank E!'s own show Secret Celebrity for giving you a glimpse into an alternate universe.
• It's highly possible you're on Robert Pattinson overload right now, but if you don't believe such a thing could ever exist, Vanity Fair released more outtakes.
• Today, in Michael Lohan's quest to help destroy Lindsay, he releases a tape of Dina talking about their daughter cutting herself. There just aren’t enough ughs for this guy.
• A behind-the-scenes look at Lady Gaga's epic "Bad Romance" music video? Yes, please!

Would You Like to Be a Porn Star Now, Carrie Prejean?
Hey, if everyone's seen you naked anyway...
Prominent porn studio Vivid Entertainment has re-extended its $1 million offer to ex-Miss California USA Carrie Prejean to star in an adult film, hopeful that she'd be more receptive to the idea now that they know it's not a matter of her being too shy to strip for the camera.
And timing is everything.
Update
The End Is Nigh: Fox Officially Cancels Dollhouse
UPDATE: Joss Whedon has spoken. "I feel [Dollhouse] is getting better pretty much every week," he just wrote to his fans on Whedonesque.com. "And I think you'll agree in the coming months. I'm grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again." Joss also promised, "By the time the last episode airs, you'll know what my next project is."
________
Dollhouse is done. We knew this was coming—Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon recently posted on fansite Whedonesque.com that the writers were "not exactly saving all the good stuff for 14-22," but still. 'Tis sad.
Insiders confirm to us that Fox has officially closed the book on the Friday-night sci-fi series. (Series producer and Joss Whedon sister-in-law Maurissa Tancharoen, who also guest stars in an upcoming episode as an active named Kilo, tweeted confirmation as well, saying, "Yes. Cancelled. Sad but true.")
We're hearing that episode 13 serves as a season finale "in a significant way and gives Joss enough time to wrap up the stories."
The show is currently on hiatus for November sweeps (seeing as how its negligible ratings would more than likely drag down Fox's average), but is set to return beginning Dec. 4 with double-booked Fridays.
So is there any chance the series could go to another network?

Calling all Biggest Loser junkies: We just got off the phone with last night's booted contestants, Shay Sorrells and Daniel Wright, and you won't believe what they've been up to since they left the show. (Hint: Dropping a lot more poundage.)
First though, the holidays have come early, because "Makeover Week"—the best episode of the season—is on the way! Check out the preview above for your first look at the remaining six contestants being escorted away in a limo to get made over by Project Runway's fashion guru Tim Gunn and stylist goddess Tabatha Coffey.
As for Shay and Daniel, here's the skinny...
Angelina Jolie Is Queen of the Tabloid Covers
It's just one of those weeks in gossip. The Gosselins are behaving themselves relatively well and the Robsten holding hands thing came out too late for tabloid covers. Good thing there's always Angelina Jolie to fall back on.
This week she's apparently a lying, cheating phony who's playing mind games with Jen and adopting a seventh child. Yay, it's just like old times, with no Gosselin in sight! Sure, Levi Johnston's still making cover appearances, but that's fine.
Now, let’s get to it and see what's going on with our favorite tabloid queen...
Rihanna and Chris Brown Still in Sync, Prepare to Face Off Once More
Rihanna and Chris Brown's promotional schedules may have curiously collided in the past, but this is just getting ridiculous.
Last month, Rihanna released her highly anticipated comeback single, "Russian Roulette." Brown chose the same day to announce his tour plans, which he followed up, two days later, by releasing his new single, "Crawl."
Then last week, Rihanna sat down with Diane Sawyer for an emotional and revelatory two-day interview. Brown answered the appearance as best the ratings-poison singer could, spilling his own oft-repeated secrets in a same-day interview on MTV.
Well, get ready for a shock: Rihanna's music video has long been set to premiere on 20/20 this Friday. And in what can only be described as a shameless piggybacking publicity ploy coincidence, guess who else decided that a musical return to the airwaves was also in order?
Brown has been booked on Friday's Wendy Williams Show, where he will both chat (though probably not much) with the hostess and premiere the not-nearly-as-anticipated music video for his single. But while Rihanna has offered no clues on what we can expect from her video, Brown has given fans a few sneak peeks, having already released promotional pictures of himself and Cassie on set.
But, credit where it's due, one thing Brown has managed to do all on his own is stay on top of the terms of his probation.
