Our long national nightmare punch line is over. Nearly.

Balloon Boy hoaxsters Richard and Mayumi Heene have agreed to plead guilty to charges stemming from the Oct. 15 nation-mesmerizing incident in exchange for probation but no jail time or, in her case, deportation.

Richard will plead guilty to the felony of attempting to influence a public servant, while Mayumi, who already confessed and who could have been shipped back to her native Japan should she have been convicted of a felony, will cop to a misdemeanor of false reporting to authorities.

Richard's lawyer, David Lane, dropped the bombshell in a statement this morning. He says the couple won't formally enter their guilt until tomorrow morning. It's unclear how long the probation will last or what other terms may accompany the sentence, though Lane credited the family's desire to stay together for the duo agreeing to fess up to the charges.

Carrie Prejean is pretty, but she sure is testy.

Larry King got the fallen beauty queen so fired up on CNN's Larry King Live last night, she walked out on the show.

Prejean is in the middle of a publicity bonanza hawking her new book, Still Standing, which details her clash with Donald Trump, Shanna Moakler and the rest of the Miss California organization.

After she showed off the tome and talked about her love for Sarah Palin—she considers herself "Palinized"—King began to ask about Prejean's recent settlement with the pageant organizers. She continued to spout her party line...that is, until she called King inappropriate and ripped off her microphone.

She's got a bambino and it was no accident.

Accidentally on Purpose star Ashley Jensen and her actor-hubby, Terence Beesley, are celebrating the arrival of a bouncing baby boy on Oct. 20, according to People.

The Emmy-nominated Jensen, who previously starred on Ugly Betty and Extras, named the tyke Francis Terence Beesley (or as his parents are already calling him "Frankie Jack"). He's the couple's first child.

Jensen and Beesley had been dating for six years when they tied the knot in California in 2007. She announced her pregnancy in July, just after wrapping her final season as an Ugly Betty regular.

The 40-year-old Scottish actress is currently on maternity leave from the Jenna Elfman-fronted Accidentally on Purpose, which debuted in September to solid ratings. Jensen plays a reporter who finds out she's going to have a baby after a one-night stand.

Talk about Method acting.

Since we've already learned that hand-holding equals a hot and heavy relationship, we'll have to apply that new rule to people who aren't in vampire movies as well.

Despite reports that 21-year-old Dancing With the Stars hottie Julianne Hough and her 30-year-old country boy Chuck Wicks had called it quits, the handsome pair may still be together.

And how do we know?

Because they were totally holding hands at the CMA Awards last night!

Hough skipped the red carpet—presumably to avoid questions about the breakup—while Wicks was working it for Entertainment Tonight. Later, E! News spotted them standing together chatting with a small group of people backstage during the show. They appeared playful, swinging their interlaced hands back and forth as they talked.

Taylor Swift was already off the stage when it happened, but...

Did Carrie Underwood try to steal some of her thunder at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards?

"How 'bout that?" marveled cohost Brad Paisley after Swift accepted the night's top honor, Entertainer of the Year. "Nineteen years old...Congratulations, Taylor. What a night. I can't even imagine a better—"

"And how were we? We were awesome!" interrupted Underwood, who sang and changed clothes 10 times, but lost out to the 19-year-old Swift for Female Vocalist of the Year.

And the show pretty much ended with that.

Remember when Faith Hill had to defend the so-called ticked-off look on her face when Underwood beat her out for the same award back in 2006?

Is this like that, or did the intentional hilarity of the moment get lost in translation?

When you're 19 and a whole association tells you they love you, you ought to believe them.

A certain awkward moment Taylor Swift had in 2009 turned into a distant memory when she finally got some time to herself at the 43rd Annual Country Music Association Awards, some of which came at the end of the night when she unseated four-time winner Kenny Chesney for Entertainer of the Year honors.

"I will never forget this moment because, in this moment, everthing I have ever wanted has just happened to me," an emotional Swift, the first woman to win the award since Shania Twain in 1999, said before inviting the members of her band onstage to share the spotlight with her.

And all that Joe Jonas heartbreak turned out to be worth it, because her spunky sophomore effort Fearless, rife with breakup tunes, was named Album of the Year.

Can Robert Pattinson's smoldering good looks set off a fire alarm?

Probably not, but could a rabid Twilight fan?

A fire alarm went off Wednesday at The Dorchester hotel in central London, completely evacuating the premises where—surprise!—Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and New Moon director Chris Weitz were giving press interviews.

An eyewitness said the swanky hotel was completely cleared around lunchtime and that "everyone was out on the street" after the alarm sounded.

Everyone?

"There [Rob] was with his entourage, including Kristen," said the source.

Now anything could have set off the alarm, but you have to wonder whether it could have had something to do with flushing the Twilight trio out into the open. We hope not.

In any case, a Dorchester receptionist told E! News it was a "minor incident."

"It's all under control now and was dealt with quickly," she said.

Mike Tyson. Now there is someone you want to piss off.

The former boxing champ was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Los Angeles International Airport after allegedly punching a paparazzo who was trailing him from terminal to terminal and, at one point, followed him into a bathroom.

Both men ended up in custody, however, after Tyson told police that the shutterbug had laid hands on him first to provoke him.

Always a good idea.
