Does the couple that games together stay together?

If so, Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish will be just fine, thank you very much.

The no-more-undercover couple stopped by the Xbox 360 party last night at celebrity tattoo artist Mister Cartoon's new Last Laugh shop in downtown Los Angeles.

"They were lovey-dovey," reports a fellow partygoer. "They were holding hands and canoodling."

The two, who met while making the movie Stop-Loss, arrived at about 8:30 p.m. and spent time checking out the new Gears of War 2 video game and chatting with its director, Cliff Bleszinski. "They drank beers and hung out," the partygoer says. The couple also browsed through the apparel at Last Laugh and a neighboring store, Upper Playground.

Wonder if the party inspired the very tattooed Phillippe to get some more body ink? "He was very excited to watch Mister Cartoon tattoo someone live at the party," reported one witness.

Phillippe and Cornish took off at about 10 p.m., but not before they were gifted with some swag—including the original Gears of War game, an accompanying art book and several items from Last Laugh and Upper Playground.
