Believe it or not, there are other British people to watch besides Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Yes, the royally fashionable twosome are obviously the biggest names who are attending next week's "Brits to Watch" party being thrown by BAFTA in Hollywood, but there's a whole slew of 42 invitees who you may or may not recognize.

The Mentalist star Owain Yeoman scored an invite, as did Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who can be seen alongside Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in Larry Crowne.

So who else gets to rub elbows with royalty and why were they chosen?

According to a statement, "They will generally not be complete beginners in their industry, and will have already begun to show real promise. What they all have in common is that our panel has seen in them a real spark of talent and creativity, and we should expect to hear more from them in the future."

The big affair goes down Saturday, July 9 at the Belasco Theater in L.A., but a pre-party reception will be held at swanky Soho House in West Hollywood the night before.

Behold, the entire list of lucky invitees who will get to hang with their Royal Highnesses:
