Eva Longoria has Cinco de Mayo plans with a very in-demand guy this Thursday.
The newly single actress divulged her VIP date this morning in NYC, and this isn't their first time getting together.
She spent time with the high-profile guy last week as well.
So who's the Latina lovely celebrating the typically boozy holiday with?
President Barack Obama!
"I'll be at the White House," she told reporters this morning at the Tassimo Brewbot Cafe grand opening in NYC.
Not too shabby, huh?
But she's not there to party and toss back margs with Barack and Michelle. She's there on business, and she actually met with him last week, already.
"It was a very small group of us that got to speak to him about issues concerning the Latino community, which are American issues: economy, healthcare, education, and of course immigration. The people who were in that room have a very strong presence in media so we have to help reshape the immigration talk and rhetoric about it being about xenophobia or anti-immigration. It's really an economic decision," she explained.
Other famous faces involved in last week's Latino brain trust meeting included America Ferrera and Rosario Dawson.
Come Thursday, she'll be there for another cause.
"I'm pm a commission for President Obama for the National Latino museum, and we're presenting him with our commission report," she told me.
Eva's one busy babe these days. She says she's got no upcoming leisure travel plans and is even skipping the Cannes film fest to shoot.
"I don't think I am this year because I'm shooting a movie in Louisiana," she told me of why she'd be MIA from the south of France, "Work, work, work!"
