There's no such thing as bad press, according to Kim Kardashian, especially if it brings attention to an important cause.

The E! starlet addressed her controversial Turkish Cosmopolitan cover while celebrating her Redbook mag cover last night in L.A.

Kim told E! News that she hadn't seen the magazine herself until yesterday, but believes the cover snafu helped shed light on the Armenian genocide:

"I did a photo shoot for the international Cosmopolitan magazine not knowing which countries were going to pick it up," Kim dished to E! News. "I really had no idea that it came out until I saw it on the news today."

And while she understands why her Armenian fans may be upset that her cover is running so close to April 24, the date that her culture remembers the genocide committed against them by Turkey, she thinks the cover controversy could be positive.

"If this brings attention to the genocides and kind of bridges the gap and brings awareness to the issue, then maybe this happened exactly the way it was supposed to," she explained.

Seems like all is well between Kim and Cosmo. According to TMZ, she's already doing another shoot for the mag this week.

Inside the Redbook bash at the Sunset Tower hotel last night, all the sisters were on hand, including Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie and mom Kris.

Even baby Mason was around for the festivities. Looks like he's all ready for this close up, too!
