Britney Spears is back with a brand-new album, so what better place to celebrate than Sin City?

The Femme Fatale headed to Las Vegas last night for two surprise shows at the Palms.

The concert wasn't even announced until yesterday by Brit-Brit herself...

"Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas?" Brit tweeted yesterday.

The pop star first performed a private show at 8 p.m., followed by a midnight performance open to the public.

Brit performed three songs at Rain nightclub for more than 1,000 fans who paid $60 a ticket to see her.

On the set list? Her first single off Femme Fatale "Hold It Against Me," as well as "Till the World Ends" and "Big Fat Bass".

Pauly D from Jersey Shore deejayed before her shows. MTV cameras were filming the shows for a special to coincide with her album's release on Tuesday.

"They're doing a behind-the-scenes documentary," a source tells me.

Brit has quite a history with the Palms and MTV: She did a surprise performance at the hotel in 2003 and bombed during her first performance post-meltdown at the 2007 VMAs, which were held at the Palms.

Luckily, her performance last night seemed to be a hit!
