Katie Holmes doesn't want to talk about The Kennedys.

The actress was on hand last night to host the premiere of The Decision, a short film she starred in about coloring your own hair (yes, really).

But she bolted on the press line when a reporter brought up the made-for-TV movie that got dropped from the History Channel.

Then again, you can't really blame her for not wanting to chat about one of her latest bombs...

The actress was scheduled to do interviews, but she headed straight inside of Lavo once someone brought up the miniseries.

And it's true, this hasn't exactly been Katie's year. First, her movie Son of No One prompted walkouts during a Sundance screening. Then, The Kennedys got axed by the network it was originally intended for (it will now air on ReelzChannel).

Her latest cinematic effort, which Katie screened last night for a crowd that included Elle mag's Joe Zee and Real Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer and Kelly Bensimon, probably won't turn the tide.

The short film (which was to support John Frieda Precision Foam Color), in which Katie only speaks a few lines and mostly makes faces, was pretty awkward to watch and received lukewarm applause.

Katie herself seemed happy with it, clapping and watching from a VIP area before leaving right after the screening. But the whole thing's online, so see for yourself.
