If Vanessa Hudgens isn't happy after her split from Zac Efron, then she's one amazing actress. Her nonstop footloose party style Sunday earns her our Most Valuable Partier title for Oscar night!

In fact, she put on quite the performance:

The Beastly star hit Elton John's Oscar bash last night wearing a silver Marchesa minidress with BFF Ashley Tisdale in tow as her date.

Vanessa was in great spirits and told us she was so excited to see Florence + the Machine perform: "She's my favorite!"

After Florence rocked the stage, doing a duet of Tiny Dancer with Sir Elton himself, Vanessa and Ashley hit the dance floor.

Vanessa was a dance machine, showing off some serious moves and even fist pumping to Katy Perry's Teenage Dream in between sipping a glass of white wine.

"She seemed so carefree and happy...she had tons of energy," one onlooker tells me. "She didn't mind the cameras at all and was loving the limelight."

Not that she was hurting for male attention. Josh Hutcherson from The Kids Are All Right also joined their dance group and she also chatted with Zachary Levi, who performed with Mandy Moore earlier in the night.

Looks like the single life agrees with V. Zac who, right?!

Also, the Glee gang was also out in full force at the fete.

Chris Colfer sat right next to Elton during dinner while Jane Lynch brought wife Lara Embry, while Dianna Agron hung with Jenna Ushkowitz.

And despite Matthew Morrison and Olivia Munn's tonsil hockey date last weekend, Mr. Schuester rolled solo and sat with Chace Crawford during dinner. And Kim Kardashian was out without Kris Humphries. Instead, she came with her friend Jonathan Cheban.

Newlyweds Nicole Richie and Joel Madden attended together and were spotted cozying up front and center stage during Florence's performance. Even Prince stopped by, making a late appearance around 11 p.m.

Despite throwing an amazing party which benefited the Elton John's AIDS Foundation, the host wasn't too tired to party hop: he hit up Vanity Fair's fete last night, too! Runner-up MVP, for sure.
