Alexa Ray Joel Takes Another Chance on Romance

Singer finds new boyfriend in guitarist she handpicked to work on her new album

A case of "heartbreak-related" depression hasn't kept Alexa Ray Joel from getting back into the dating game.

Her rep confirms that Alexa is dating singer-songwriter Cass Dillon (who looks a lot like Eli Roth).

What began as a business relationship has now turned into pleasure for the pair...

"They are dating, but he was not hired by Billy [Joel] to play guitar," Alexa's rep tells me. "He is Alexa's guitar player and was hired by Alexa for her upcoming CD."

Perhaps the confusion came about because Cass' first single, titled Christmas in Fallujah, was written by Alexa's famous dad.

Regardless, the new couple has been together all over the Big Apple and hit up a YSL fragrance party last week.

Let's just hope this relationship ends up better than her last one...
