Hilary Duff Goes Long Distance for Love
Hilary Duff is often seen cheering on her hockey boyfriend, Mike Comrie, from the sidelines, so when she hosted a party for Hervé Léger last night, he returned the favor.
As Hil worked the carpet at Live! on Sunset, Mike waited patiently in the wings for his girl. The twosome gets to spend the entire summer together.
"He plays hockey in Ottawa, so he's in town for the summer...so he's gotta show up for all my stuff now since I'm constantly going to visit him," Hil tells E! News. "He's a good sport about all of it, and he's great. I'm happy to have him back!"
It certainly looked that way last night as the lovebirds sipped champagne and white wine together inside the bash. So how do they make it work when they can't be in the same city?
Hil confessed there's no big secret to their successful relationship.
"We iChat a lot...iChat's great!" she said. "We text message, call. I go visit as much as I can. But we're in a very comfortable place, so it's not nerve-racking. We both want it to work and care enough about it, so it finds a way to work itself out."
Also hanging at the party hosted by Hil? Sophia Bush and Jordana Brewster, both clad in Hervé Léger bandage dresses, natch.
