Ellen Page Prepares to Take on the Hipsters

Be your own hero. Or at least your own boss.

Fresh on the wheels of the disappointing box office of Whip It, Ellen Page has just signed a deal to write and produce a comedy for HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will partner with actors Alia Shawkat and Sean Tillmann.

It's unclear whether Page or her cohorts will star, but we'll put in our request now for a Diablo Cody and Drew Barrymore cameo.

As befitting the Oscar-nominated star of Juno, Page's project Stitch N' Bitch is reportedly about the perils of hipsterism. The comedy concerns two artistically inclined young women who migrate from Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood all the way to L.A.'s Silver Lake.

We're guessing culture shock is not going to be a problem.

Edgy Matt Damon Drops In on the Entourage Finale

More from Watch with Kristin

Just look at that face. Does it even remotely resemble the Matt Damon we so often hear about? The fun-loving prankster who pals around with the likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney? We think not. The sixth season finale of Entourage may consist of an Ari-Lloyd showdown, Turtle-Jamie-Lynn drama and (hopefully) some E-Sloane resolution, but more importantly, it features Matt Damon totally pissed off with Vince (Adrian Grenier). So what's the problem between Hollywood's nice guy and Hollywood's playboy? Let's just say, "It's for the kids."

See Entourage Sundays at 10:30 p.m. on HBO.

Season two of our favorite (and sexiest) vampire show is coming to an end, but first it's throwing out all the stops. For all of us who were wowed by Sookie Stackhouse's latest power in the last episode, our favorite glowing gal promises even more excitement before the season finale.

More from Marc Malkin

Are baby vampires in the works for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer?

Moyer, 39, may have two kids from previous relationships, but that won't stop him from having more with his fiancee costar, Paquin, 27.

"Anna's so great with Stephen's kids and seems to love them so much, so she seems like someone who would be very open to having kids with him," Kristin Bauer, who plays Pam on the hit HBO vampire series, tells us. "I wouldn't be surprised."

Read on to find out why Bauer thinks the acting duo makes such a great team off camera, plus some deets on the finale...

Brad Pitt, Former "High" Roller Does Real Time

Joking that he's "brave and stupid" to stop by Real Time With Bill Maher, Brad Pitt talks about contemplating running for office on a sure-to-lose platform of "No religion, gay marriage and legalizing pot."

On the last topic, one of Bill's faves, the host waxes rhapsodic about how years ago he saw Brad at a party rolling joints nonstop, like a machine, to which Brad modestly demures, "I'm an artist." Kidding aside, Brad says he stopped smoking weed when he became a dad because he needed to be alert. Revealing himself to be a responsible and reasonable freethinker, maybe do-gooder Pitt does have a future in politics after all.

More from Watch with Kristin

Seriously, the Entourage boys are finally back. Promise.

With last season having been (dare we say it?) a bit lackluster, we know this might be hard to believe, but on our honor, cross our hearts and hope to die, Entourage is back to the roots that made it irresistible in its heyday—remember way back in 2004?

If you want a quick overview of how Entourage has bounced back, think of the good ol' days when the HBO hit was a guys club, where Ari Gold's fast-talking rants had you rolling on the floor laughing and four Brooklyn boys took Hollywood by storm.

Check out your first sneak peek above and keep reading for two more. Plus, find out what Vinnie Chase, E, Turtle and Drama are up to this year...
