Stars Nearly Outshine the Lakers
Despite winning game three of the NBA Finals over the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers seemed to take a backseat to the slew of celebrities in attendance.
Fergie, in a Lakers jersey jacket that read "Thank God 4 Kobe" on the back, took time out to sign team paraphernalia; while Angelina Jolie's father, Jon Voight, politely fielded questions about his pregnant daughter.
"I think she's OK," he told the crowd. "Just make sure that we all say a little prayer that everybody's good, that the babies are good."
Usher Takes It Slow
He’s married. He’s a father. So is it any wonder R&B star Usher Raymond sounds a little more mellow on his fifth album, Here I Stand?
Thankfully, friends like Jay-Z and Will.i.am arrive to kick things up with album highlights like "Best Thing" and "What's Your Name," respectively.
And even if this follow-up to 2004's multiplatinum Confessions skews heavily toward the slow jams, the 29-year-old singer delivers one of the summer's sexiest singles in the chart-topping "Love in This Club."
Now dry yourself off and check out what else is coming out this week.
Fergalicious and Forthcoming
"My therapist, Kelly Michaels. She's amazing. She's my real-life superhero."

Fergie Sexes Up City Theme: Do You Dig It?
Yeah, we're pretty sure she just said "supercalifragisexy." But it wouldn't be a Fergie song if she didn't mangle and mash up the English language, right?
The Dutchess totally puts her humps all over the Sex and the City theme for the new movie's anthem, Labels or Love, which has just leaked all over the Internet. (More tracks, such as Jennifer Hudson's "All Dressed in Love," are looping on the movie's official site.) We kinda can't stop listening to it—even though we want to.
But what about you? In love yet?
Fergie's Frolicking
The best part of being a celebrity? It might be that you never have to bring your own camera on vacation, because the paparazzi are always there to capture it all on film.
On a getaway to the Bahamas, the paps caught Fergie and Josh Duhamel looking like they’re on an early honeymoon romping on the beach, riding Jet Skis and rubbing lotion on each other.
That last one really makes us think these guys are gonna go the long haul, because there's nothing more romantic than combating premature aging and skin cancer in the one you love.
Spied: Fergie in the City
The glamour gal that is Ms. Fergie was spotted leaving the Cartier Fifth Avenue flagship store today sporting what the Dutchess might classify as the mere essentials:
Cartier Trinity One bracelet with diamonds, retail $35,100
Cartier yellow gold & diamond Orchid cocktail ring, retail $17,550
Cartier white composite eyewear, retail $480
Marcello de Cartier white buffalo leather bag with gold accents, retail $2,200
Granted, she looks gorgeous, but basic math and common sense tells us that wearing $55,330 worth of jewels while walking around the Big Apple are the equivalent of a "Mug Me!" sign.
The Duchess Dazzles in Dolce and Diamonds
Diamonds—and rubies and gold—really are Fergie’s best friend.
The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman showed off a dazzling array of Cartier jewels during her joint birthday celebration with Quentin Tarantino last night in Las Vegas, with six different pieces that added up to being worth nearly $150,000!
Among the glamorous goodies were $52,100 white diamond and ruby earrings worn to the Mirage’s Jet nightclub, along with a matching $23,000 bracelet.
Idolizing Britney Spears
Britney Spears appears to be on the right track, so what better way to celebrate than by giving back?
How about American Idol? But if stepping back on stage for some song and dance with the wannabe Idols is too much for Ms. Brit right now, she ought to consider making an appearance at Idol Gives Back, the star-studded fundraiser on April 9.
