Who looks fine, and who should be fined?

Blake Lively's Hair Is the New "Rachel." Huh?!

Blake Lively Jim Spellman/Getty Images, Gustavo Caballero/Getty Images

Everyone wants Blake Lively's hair. The New York Times is saying it's the new Rachel or Farrah. (Kate Gosselin would probably beg to disagree.)

The NYT then spends a whole article discussing the Gossip Girl star's hair and includes all kinds of weird quotes like, "It's aspirational hair. [Clients] don't just want the hair, they want the life." Or "the look only works for tall, slim women" and "kind of transcends" age.

It's a lot of analysis for a hairstyle, and we gotta say, most of the time we see Blake out she's actually rocking the unbrushed, messy look (as seen above, right). Even when it's all nice with a fresh blowout, it doesn't look that iconic. Not even close to Rachel status.

What do you think? Are you going to request The Blake on your next salon visit?

Would You Do...Tara Reid With This Rock?

Tara Reid Crockett/Tubbs/Flynet
More from The Awful Truth

Tara Reid was lunching with her girlfriends in Miami the other day and just happened to use her hands, all animatedly and such. And there appeared to be a pink dog turd surrounded by rhinestones on her ring finger.

Perhaps the first question should be: Would you say "yes" to anyone who proposed with that gaudy-awful thing?

Although we're skeptical that it is indeed an engagement ring, we put in calls to Tara's reps—but have yet to hear back. Supposedly some posh lunchers behind Reid overheard the once-doable blonde talking about her supposed engagement to billionaire boyfriend Michael Axtmann.

We're chalking this one up to Tara dying for a wee bit of publicity. And looks like we're giving it to her, so the joke's on us.

What do you think: Do diamonds flatter Miss (or soon to be Mrs.) Reid?

Tom Ford on Depression, Gay Marriage and Botox

More from Marc Malkin

Tom Ford is giving it up.

In what is probably his most revealing interview, the former Gucci designer didn't hold back when talking to writer Kevin Sessums for his new Advocate cover story.

First up, Ford's battle with depression. He says he had a serious midlife crisis when he turned 40.

"I have always struggled throughout my life with depression," Ford, now 48, says. "I've never made any of this public because…well…I'm not one to wear any of this on my sleeve. When someone would come into my office in the morning and ask me how I was I'd always go, 'I'm great! I'm great!' But I wasn't great."

Also not great? Not being able to marry his longtime partner Richard Buckley…

Fashion Police: Is Rihanna Wearing a Wedding Dress?

Glamour Woman of the Year cover girl Rihanna was honored by the lady mag last night, so you wouldn't want her to wear something normal, now would you?

Of course not! The thing is, we weren't exactly expecting the pop princess to wear this Stéphane Rolland mermaid wedding gown, especially after all the edgy rock star stuff she's favored lately...and that "ef love" statement she made. But Rihanna doesn't care what we expect.

Now, the dress can go two ways. One: Gross! Why is she wearing something made out of cheap miniblinds?! Or two: That's right, Rihanna! You pick the craziest, tightest, most dramatic, attention-grabbing thing you can find and rock it!

We gotta say, we definitely fall into the latter category with this one. Only Rihanna could make us feel this way.

Demi Moore: Call Me a Puma Not a Cougar

Demi Moore, W Magazine, Cover W Magazine; Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

Demi Moore is on the cover of December's W wearing a festive holiday getup. The reigning Queen of Twitter talks about (what else?) being a cougar and how great Ashton Kutcher is. Feels like we've heard this all before from the actress, but let's do it anyway.

While everyone considers Demi to be the O.G. cougar, she doesn't see it that way.

"I'm certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl," she says. "I don't know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, 'There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?' I'd prefer to be called a puma."

("Puma" is already used to describe women in their 30s who go for younger men, so 47-year-old Demi doesn't really fall into that category. But she thinks "she came up with the new designation," so maybe it's best to let her go on believing that?)

Now about her 31-year-old husband. She loves him. A lot.

Who's Dressing Under the Influence?

Runway to Red Carpet: Does Lady Gaga Nail It?

Lady Gaga, Natasha Poly, Jean-Paul Gaultier Model Johnny Nunez/Getty Images; Nathalie Lagneau/Catwalking/Getty Images

Usually, the more risqué styling happens on the catwalk. But not when it's Lady Gaga who wears the runway design.

The singer hit up BET's 106 & Park this week in a coned creation from Jean Paul Gaultier's spring collection, appropriately named, and yes we're serious, "The G Spot."

Of course, Gaga kept to her "I'm too cool for pants" style and opted not to wear the shorts shown on model Natasha Poly.

Too bad.

At least when Jean Paul Gaultier resurrected his infamous lingerie look, the designer tried to make it different with ghetto-fab details and over-the-top accessories.

Or do you like this direct rip-off of Madonna circa 1990?

Fashion Face-Off: Katy Perry vs. Blake Lively

Katy Perry, Blake Lively Courtesy of Getty Images, Jim Spellman/Getty Images
More from H'Wood Party Girl

You wouldn't think Katy Perry and Blake Lively would have similar styles, but go figure: Both babes recently donned versions of the same lacy, floral print dress.

Blake wore it first, to the NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are. Perhaps taking the movie's title a bit too literally, she settled on a feathered version of the frock.

The Gossip Girl star showed lots of leg and left her blond locks loose and wavy to complete the look.

Katy, however, chose a long, elegant version for her hosting duties at the MTV Europe Awards last night...

Fashion Police: Leona Lewis' Dress Is So Fierce It'll Slap You in the Face

Leona Lewis Sean Gallup/Getty Images

Leona Lewis was at MTV's European Music Awards yesterday where she performed her latest single "Happy."

She had walked the red carpet in harem pants so we weren't expecting too much from her stage style. But then the X Factor winner changed into this amazing custom Vivienne Westwood gown for her performance, and whoa! Total diva status.

We are digging the extravagant full tulle skirt and pointy PVC corset. Not only does it flatter her figure, but she goes all the way crazy-fierce evil Barbie—and owns it.

It's like a slap in the face to everyone playing it too safe on the red carpet.

Shia vs. Ed: Who's Sexiest in a Suit?

Ed Westwick, Shia LaBeouf PacificCoastNews.com; Fame Pictures Inc.

Lookin' good, New York City.

Today in the Big Apple, the streets were overflowing with handsome dudes, such as these fellows, Shia LaBeouf and Ed Westwick.

(Not to mention a very lucky Alec Baldwin and some hung over jubilant Yankees fans.)

Dressed for success (and making movies), Shia is filming the Wall Street sequel with director Oliver Stone, while Ed is finely pressed for Gossip Girl.

They both look great, but who suits your fancy best?
