Ellen, Tyra, Rachael Ray Share Daytime Emmy Glory
It's going to take an army—or at least a stronger contingent than they've got over at The View—to take down Ellen DeGeneres.
The master of witty self-deprecation won her fourth consecutive trophy for Outstanding Talk Show Host, once again besting Barbara Walters & Co. and Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
"I never take this for granted...Every single year, I know people joke about it…It's not what we do it for, but it feels so good," DeGeneres said while thanking her fans, crew, family and fiancée, Portia de Rossi.
"We all know this has been a crazy year. On my show, we've done a lot of crying and a lot of laughing, and I've cried all by myself and people laugh, and then I cry some more...I know you're counting me down, but it's the longest day of the year, I just read, so I can go on," she continued, referring to tonight's summer solstice.

Ellen's 50th Birthday: Stars, Fireworks & Doughnuts!
I was the first to tell you that Ellen DeGeneres was going to have a big birthday party Saturday night.
Well, she did. And the guest list at the Warner Bros. studio lot's carnival- and casino-themed soirée was star-studded...

Ellen, Regis, Restless Rack Up Daytime Emmy Noms
Ellen DeGeneres just got eight more reasons to dance.
While CBS' The Young and the Restless scored a commanding 17 nominations for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this morning, DeGeneres took the lead among her chatty peers, racking up the most nods among her talk-show brethren.
In addition to getting singled out with an Outstanding Talk Show Host nomination, The Ellen DeGeneres Show is also up for Outstanding Talk Show (Entertainment), vying against Rachael Ray and The View.
Notably absent from the category, however, is perpetual favorite Live With Regis & Kelly, which this year once again entered itself into the Talk Show race after last year's ill-fated foray into the Outstanding Morning Program category. While it earned a nomination last year, it ended up the biggest loser, after the two other shows in the field tied for the Emmy.
GLAAD Tidings in Hollywood
Kathy Griffin sure knows how to yuk it up with her gays.
The redheaded funnylady picked up the Outstanding Reality Program award for her My Life on the D-List last night during the GLAAD Media Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
“I got the Michael Kors dress, the H. Stern jewelry and [stylist] Robert Verdi put me together,” she said. “I didn’t let a straight person near me tonight.”
While there were plenty of yuks throughout the evening, there were just as many serious notes.
