Eli Stone: The Future Revealed
Just over a month ago, the dearly departed Eli Stone aired its series finale after months of being on hiatus. Fans got to say goodbye to the show, while learning that Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) and Maggie (Julie Gonzalo) got their happy ending and Wethersby Stone was safe from foreclosure.
We've since learned that this fairy-tale ending is not the case. We caught up with executive producer and creator Marc Guggenheim, who spilled the complete future for Eli and the gang, which was especially easy since they had scripted four episodes past the series finale. Since those episodes are not airing, we thought Eli fans might want to know what would've happened.
For true fans, some of the following will shock you. Some of your favorite couples don't end up getting their happily ever after, while one new couple—that will leave your jaw on the floor—does. You also may be surprised by who might've played Taylor's (Natasha Henstridge) mother.

ABC Delays End of Daisies, Eli and Dirty Sexy Money
Dying to know where the Piemaker and his beloved Charlotte Charles will end up when Pushing Daisies comes to a close?
Join the club! But apparently ABC is in no hurry to give the fans closure.
Sources close to the Alphabet network tell me exclusively that the remaining episodes for Daisies will not air until—wait for it, ‘cause you're gonna have to—this summer.
And that's not all. It's the same case for those two other much-loved but recently canceled ABC series: Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money.
Yes, word is Daisies' final three episodes and Eli and DSM's final four won't air until June at the earliest.
According to insiders, the original plan was for the final three episodes of Daisies to begin airing last Wednesday, but ABC decided to air reruns of Scrubs instead.
And what you really won't want to hear is...

Sources: Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Canceled
Update, Friday, 10:54 a.m. PST: Press play above to see Kristin Chenoweth explain who and what should take the blame for the untimely death of Daisies.
ABC has canceled Pushing Daisies, executive producer Bryan Fuller has confirmed to me exclusively.
"I just heard the news," star Kristin Chenoweth tells us in an exclusive interview tonight. "Obviously it's a bittersweet night." (Keep reading for much more from Bryan and Kristin.)
According to our inside sources, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money also have been canceled. Reps for both shows have declined to comment. However, sources who work on Eli and DSM say they were informed today the shows would not continue.
So what happened? And is there any chance these characters will live on?

Eli Stone Boss: Katie Holmes Will "Influence" Stories
ABC's Eli Stone (Jonny Lee Miller) has his aneurysm back—not to mention his prophetic visions. The network has requested more episodes of the series, and Stone show runner Marc Guggenheim is here to share secrets.
Find out directly from the man in charge about Eli's love life, how Katie Holmes' appearance changes the whole season and what Seal's guest gig means for the series...

Video Sneak Peek: Katie Holmes Steams Up Eli Stone!
Get a load of Katie Holmes! She's guesting on an upcoming episode of ABC's fantastical legal drama Eli Stone, and her first appearance is as a jazz-singing nightclub girl in one of Eli's (Jonny Lee Miller) visions. Check it out:
But wait, there's more! The second sneak peek features a much more dressed-down Katie Holmes...
Eli Stone: George and Katie May Return...Plus, More Scoop
Spy Daddy is here! And yes, I know we're not here for Alias, but it still warms my heart to see Victor Garber sitting up there onstage with the fantastic cast and crew of the awesome Eli Stone.
Eli's press session at ABC's Press Tour was especially juicy, so here are the goods:
ABC Buzz: Women's Murder Club to End; Eli Stone to Return
The upfronts aren't next until week in New York City, which is where all the official pickups and cancellations are set to be announced, but sources close to ABC have tipped me that while bubble show Eli Stone will get the nod for a season two, another hour-long drama, Women's Murder Club, will not be returning.
Like I said, not official, but that's where these two shows currently stand, according to my sources.
Frankly, the news about Club might be for the best. While I adore Angie Harmon and the cast and loved the show in its original state, WMC just hasn't been the same since show runners Liz Craft and Sarah Fain were let go following the end of the strike. (At which point they were immediately picked up by old pal Joss Whedon to write on Dollhouse, so good for them!)
Sad news about WMC to be sure, but hallelujah about Eli Stone, right? I, for one, adore that series and need to know what happens next between Eli (Jonny Lee Miller) and Maggie Dekker (Julie Gonzalo). Post your cheers and laments, respectively, in the comments, tubers!
Will Eli Survive?
You like it. You really like it. And you're hoping the bubble (aneurysm?) doesn't burst.
As messages pour in about the fate of ABC's fantastic new dramedy Eli Stone—which airs its season finale tomorrow night—it becomes clear how deeply this series has touched its fan base. And for good reason: This story about an impassioned lawyer with a brain aneurysm—who may or may not be a prophet—is one of the most inspiring TV newcomers we've seen in a long while.
So where do things stand as far as a pickup for season two for Eli? Well, I just checked in with executive producer Greg Berlanti, and he sends out this message to you fans:Save It or Sink It: Eli Stone
We’re back with yet another Save It or Sink It poll for you well-trained, TV-watching voters. This week, I believe you’re in for a treat with Eli Stone, the newest offering from Greg Berlanti, the small-screen visionary behind Everwood, Brothers & Sisters and Dirty Sexy Money.
I’m calling it Jerry Maguire meets Joan of Arcadia, since the main character (played by Angelina Jolie ex Jonny Lee Miller) is a successful attorney who’s looking for deeper meaning in life and, along the way, begins having visions that may be messages from God.
Just like Berlanti’s previous projects, this series comes with a positive message sans cheese. So, I hope you enjoy it. And make sure you weigh in once you’ve viewed it!
By the way, it’s on right after Lost, so you have no excuse!
