Paris Steps Out Solo, but Things "Great" With Doug

Although Paris Hilton left Doug Reinhardt home last night and attended the Jimmy Choo for H&M party with her family, the two are still going strong.
And what about that incident between the couple on Halloween night where P's phone ended up getting tossed out of their limo?
Her rep says things got blown out of proportion.
"There was never a choking incident," the heiress's rep tells E! News of paparazzi shots supposedly showing Doug's hand on Paris' neck. "The photographs show Doug asking Paris not to go back outside and to calm down.”
So why was her phone thrown out the window by Doug in the first place?

One party wasn't enough for Paris Hilton's boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt.
While Paris threw him a bash last week in advance of his actual birthday on Thursday, the couple continued celebrating his 24th in Vegas this weekend—doing it up in typical over-the-top heiress style.
On Friday, they checked into the Hard Rock Hotel and hit the U2 and Black Eyed Peas concert.
Saturday, the on-again duo first stopped at a pet store before heading to Circus Circus for roller coaster rides and carnival games, along with Doug's guy friends.
After a disco nap, the festivities continued at Body English, where P. presented Doug with a huge cake, which they promptly smashed in each other's faces.
Things almost turned sour later that night when they came close to running into one of Paris' exes, who was also at Hard Rock...

It might look like Paris Hilton is proudly displaying her dubious boy-toy Doug Reinhardt for all to gawk at last night, till ya realize where the duo was dining—Gulfstream restaurant in the Century City shopping mall. Who'd ever expect these two snobby VIP babes there of all places?
Looks like our source was right on the money when he yakked to us that P.H. is "not really ready to reintroduce herself as dating Doug again." But is it because the heiress has finally learned her lesson when it comes to dating dudes?

We kind of think Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt are a match made in celebutante history. She's from hotel parents, he's from frozen burritos. They both thrive on reality television and they're both, well, blond.
So, needless to say, we were excited when they reunited about a month ago after a brief hiatus because of something that happened at a bar (doesn't it always?). And yesterday, we were even more stoked when Doug told E! News they are "definitely stronger than ever."
But, alas, not everyone shares our sentiment.
When we asked Nicky Hilton at the Charlotte Ronson show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week if she was happy about them reuniting, she told us flat out.
"Ummm...no," she bluntly stated with a very straight face.
Yikes! Tell us how you really feel.

Paris Hilton's hopping back into the grind (she told you she's "always working") after returning from her romantic vacay with on-again BF Doug Reinhardt. Dougie planned the trip to win the heiress back after their brief breakup, and it totally worked like a charm.
But the dirty-dancing duo still haven't stepped out in public again. And they might not for a while: Par's currently up north in Twi country filming a bit part for Supernatural. (Which V-town pair do we have to worry about Ms. Hilton corrupting more, Jackles or Robsten?)
Now that P's out of Doug's eyesight, she's found a way to absolutely guarantee he doesn't forget about her again—not for a friggin' millisecond, folks.
So in what totally outlandish way did Paris accomplish this?

Sort of. Sources close to the couple confirm to E! News that the two are trying to work things out.
"The time apart has been good," a source close to the couple says. "He's kept a low profile, and he's been doing everything he can to impress her and get her back."
In case you aren't caught up all on Paris and Doug's romantic history, the two split in June after six months of dating, during which Paris even dropped the M-word.
After the breakup, Paris headed to Dubai to film yet another version of her MTV show, while Doug dropped off the radar.
So what's their status now?

These are tough times for Paris Hilton, dashed on the shoals of true love once again, her trip to the altar delayed by the myriad vicissitudes of impetuous Lady Venus...Who are we kidding, right? After hearing the breakup news from Team Paris, we contacted Doug earlier this afternoon, and he insisted, "No, that's not true. Everything is OK between us."
Oops.
Word of the split surprised us as much as Doug, coming just three days after Paris and Doug told E! News how much they were looking forward to their six-month anniversary.
