Brinkley Feels "Really Badly" for the Other Woman
Christie Brinkley has been through a lot—and she still has a lot to go through—but she hasn't lost her ability to empathize.
"I'd just like to say after two days of testimony that I can't help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know that I feel really badly for them," the jilted former supermodel said after court Thursday, referring to the woman who was a teenager when she had an affair with Brinkley's soon to be ex-husband, Peter Cook.
"I feel bad for her and I forgive her completely."
Brinkley testified earlier today that she learned about the affair from Bianchi's policeman stepfather.
"Today was really difficult reliving all the horrors" of that time, she told reporters outside the courthouse.
Testimony is scheduled to resume Monday.
Madonna's Mother-in-Law: "There Is No Divorce"
Mothers-in-law are such a pain. Always slipping the kids candy or messing up your kitchen. Or talking to the press about deeply personal marital issues that you’d rather not see published in tabloids all over the world.
Guy Ritchie’s mom reportedly told the Daily Mail that despite rumors, Guy and Madonna “are not getting divorced,” adding rather Britishly, “The speculation is TT—that’s total tosh.”
We imagine Madonna will let Lady Amber Leighton know that it’s also NOYB—that’s none of your business.
Judge OKs Bill Murray Divorce
Bill Murray got a quickie.
A judge in Charleston, S.C., has signed off on a divorce settlement between the comic actor and his wife of more than 10 years, less than a month and a half after she filed her petition.
Christie Brinkley's Divorce to Have Its Close-Up
Christie Brinkley was never one to turn down a cover story.
A New York judge ruled Friday that the former supermodel's divorce proceedings will remain open to the media, despite her soon-to-be ex-husband's objections that their kids could suffer from the 24/7 news cycle once the couple's dirty laundry hits the proverbial public clothesline.
Jermaine Divorce a Done Deal
It was as easy as 1,2, 3.
Jermaine Jackson and his third wife, Alejandra, have finalized the ABCs of their divorce settlement, per court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Living up to his paternal obligations, the former Jackson 5 singer and older brother of Michael agreed to pay his estranged wife $3,000 a month in child support, $50,000 in back child support and an additional $50,000 for attorney's fees.
In return, Alejandra waived her right to alimony and dropped all claims to Jackson's business, Jermaine Jackson Entertainment Inc., as well as his furniture and the family jewels.
Kiefer's Marriage Finally Kaput
Kiefer Sutherland is officially divorced. Which surely comes as news to all but the handful of die-hard fans who even knew he was technically still married.
Nearly four years after the 24 star first filed for divorce from Elizabeth Kelly Winn Sutherland, and roughly nine years after the long-estranged duo first separated, the uncontested divorce was finally granted.
According to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the divorce was granted on May 16, with the Sutherlands' status subsequently restored to that of swinging singles. Which, really, is just another technicality, as the star has hardly been without arm candy for the better part of the past decade. (View the documents.)
Sutherland, 41, and Winn, a 46-year-old former model, had no children together and were married for eight years at the time of the divorce filing back in May 2004. At the time, Sutherland cited the ever-popular irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
It's the second, very long time coming divorce for Sutherland, who was previously briefly married to actress Camelia Kath.
Anne Heche Doesn't Have to Pay for July
After Heche claimed she'll be more than $6,000 in the hole if she's required to shell out any more money, a judge on Wednesday granted the actress' request to suspend child and spousal support payments to ex-husband Coley Laffoon for the month of July, according to court documents obtained by E! News. (View the docs.)
And this apparently isn't sour grapes on the divorcée's part.
Per a declaration filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Heche is $364,000 in debt—mainly due to her ongoing divorce litigation—and had only $34,840.93 in all of her accounts as of Tuesday.
Al Reynolds Talks Star Wars
Al Reynolds had stars in his eyes when he fell for Star Jones.
That's what the former Wall Street exec wants the world to know in the wake of last month's announcement by his estranged wife that she is seeking a divorce.
"I know in my heart that I entered my marriage with love and the best of intentions and leave it with great sadness that it didn't work," the 37-year-old Reynolds says in a wrenching post on his MySpace page.
He also blasted media coverage of the split, saying it felt like "Dump on Al Month."
"If you think you are having a tough day, may I propose you walk in my shoes for a few hours," he writes. "I have been called a gigolo, a freeloader, unemployed, a sham and many other things that don't bear repeating. People on television, radio and the Internet have spoken disparagingly of my life, sexuality, my career and my integrity.
"What I want people to know is that I am not the caricature portrayed by the media. I am complex, contradictory and capable of great intelligence but also remarkable stupidity. In other words...don’t label me. Instead, JUST GET TO KNOW ME. And if you see me, just call me Al."

Liv Tyler's Rock Marriage Rolls Away
Liv Tyler's marriage was apparently more rocky than rock.
The actress has split from her British rocker hubby, Royston Langdon, after five years of marriage, Tyler's rep, Stephen Huvane, confirmed to E! News.
"Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation," a rep for the actress said. "They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."
Rumors of marital discord between the 36-year-old Langdon, the former frontman of Spacehog, and Tyler, the 30-year-old progeny of rocker Steven Tyler, have been swirling for weeks, after the actress was spotted around New York City sans wedding ring.
The speculation kicked into high gear earlier this week, when the Lancôme spokeswoman turned up at the Met Costume Institute Gala Monday night with a naked ring finger and without her husband.
The duo tied the knot in a small ceremony in the Caribbean back in March 2003. Son Milo was born in December 2004.
Wayne Brady Doesn't Forget the Divorce Papers
Although they've reportedly been living apart for nearly four years now, Wayne Brady's divorce from his wife Mandie wasn't finalized until Monday, per court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The duo separated in April 2006 after seven years of marriage and then Mandie filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences (not to mention addresses) as the reason for the split. They have a five-year-old daughter, Maile.
"Mandie is my best friend. We still love each other and we are raising our beautiful daughter Maile together as a team," Brady said in a statement released by his publicist Wednesday.
Details of their divorce settlement, which they arrived at with the help of a mediator, were not disclosed.
