Trackmaster Jerkins: Britney Still Brings It

After a brief music-biz timeout, Britney Spears is barging back with a vengeance, says record producer Rodney Jerkins in this exclusive video interview with E! News reporter Jason Kennedy. Touting the pop star's professionalism and savvy, Jerkins says Brit can still cut a killer track in a fraction of the time it takes other artists.

And she's no studio diva either, never demanding anything more than Starbucks or Red Bull. For more of this exclusive video, catch E! News Sunday evening.

Ol' Blue Eyes Goes Postal

Frank Sinatra, Stamp USPS
Frank Sinatra's performances at the end of his career were often so relaxed that he seemed to be mailing it in. Now, 10 years after his death, we can honor his incredible artistry and otherworldly insouciance by literally mailing it in for him—thanks to the spiffy new Sinatra stamp released this week by the post office.

The legendary singer and scene-maker's creative interpretations are fresher than ever on classic albums like In the Wee Small Hours, Songs for Swingin' Lovers, Ring-a-Ding-Ding and countless others. To savor the flavor, you can check out a remembrance featuring some inside scoop from Frank's "Come Fly With Me" collaborator, trumpeter Billy May.

But we prefer to paraphrase the Chairman of the Board's wackily slack version of "Come Fly With Me" with our own silly, celebratory lyrics: "Postage wise, it's such a koo-koo day."

We'll mail it in every day for you, Frank!

Miley's Got Milk

Miley Cyrus miley.bodybymilk.com

Miley Cyrus is back in front of the camera, only this time for a much more wholesome cause. And not, it seems, a moment too soon.

Disney's tween queen is the latest celeb to don a dairy 'stache for the ubiquitous Got Milk? campaign.

Titled "Girl Power," the ad, a necessary and well-timed departure from her Vanity Fair photo session, reads: "Actress by day. Rocker by night. I've got to keep fit to keep up. So I drink milk. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk over sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. It's the best of both worlds."

With any luck, Cyrus' milk campaign won't just build bones—it'll also assuage some achy-breaky parent hearts.

Britney Hangs With Her Boys

More from H'Wood Party Girl

Following her second successful stint on How I Met Your Mother comes further signs that Britney Spears is working on a comeback.

Last night, Brit was on hand for the finale of MTV's Rock the Cradle, which her on/off manager Larry Rudolph produces. (The pop star stayed backstage during the taping and didn't take any photos.)

Later, she headed over to Sur in Beverly Hills, where she had dinner with another power player: George Maloof, who owns the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Since it seems like he's willing to overlook her disastrous VMAs performance there last year, maybe a Sin City show wouldn't be such a bad idea for Brit?

Finally, Britney will get to spend time with her other boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, on Sunday. She's reportedly been given permission to spend all of Mother's Day with her sons.

NKOTB: As Organic as Your Strawberries

New Kids on the Block Jamie McCarthy/WireImage.com
The New Kids on the Block may have paved the way for more contemporary boy bands—think 'N Sync or the Backstreet Boys—but don't go labeling them as a manufactured group.

"I went to school with Danny, Jon and Jordan since first grade," Donnie Wahlberg told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning show while promoting their new single "Summertime." (Hear it below!)

"It was very organic...There was definitely no big machine or anything. The machine—that’s one of the misconceptions of the group. Because of the later boy bands that came. People churning out these boy bands."

But no hard feelings for 'N Sync, as Jon admitted to having a little place for the band in his heart:

"I’ve always been partial to ‘N Sync, personally. But you know, I’m a softie."

Listen to the new single "Summertime," and then let us know what you think! Should other boy bands be worried?

Burning Q's: Missing Aliens & The Hills for Real

Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fehr, Jason Behr, Roswell WB
More from Ask the Answer Bitch

With all the hype on The Hills, I decided to check it out. It seemed kinda scripted to me—is it?
—A. Mendez

You've heard the hype, but you haven't heard this? Well, it depends on what you mean by scripted. Lauren Conrad has said that certain scenes are reenacted to make for cleaner storytelling. But officially, the show has no writers, Conrad says.

Whatever happened to the cast of Roswell? Obviously, Katherine Heigl is doing OK these days, but where did everyone else end up?

Carey On

Mariah Carey, E=MC (squared) Album Cover Island

No doubt thanks in part to her full-scale military-style assault on TV screens over the past week, Mariah Carey's E=MC2 is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard album charts.

On Tuesday alone, its first day out, the album sold 154,000 copies, nearly as much as the total sales for this week's current reigning record champ, Leona Lewis. The latter's Spirit sold a leading 205,000 copies this week, making the Simon Cowell protégé the first British solo artist to nab the top spot in more than two decades.

Hope it was good while it lasted.

One Night (Band)Stand

Dave Navarro Lester Cohen/Wireimage.com

For the first time in nearly 17 years, Jane's Addiction—that'd be Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery for the uninitiated fan—will reunite on April 23 for a one-night-only reunion.

The indie rockers will perform and receive a career achievement nod at the inaugural NME Awards in Los Angeles. Until now, Avery had been the sole holdout for the one-off reunion, having previously declined to play with the band since it first split in 1991.

Blondies Have More Fun

Blondie Mark Allen/WireImage.com

Never say never.

Just two years after rockin' frontwoman Debbie Harry vowed that Blondie would no longer tour comes news that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will hit the road in the U.K. and U.S. this summer to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, Parallel Lines.

Voters May Have Kicked Him Off, but Celebs Have Got Michael Johns' Back

Michael Johns, American Idol Season 7 FOX

Michael Johns' boot from American Idol may be the best thing that ever happened to him.

Johns tells reporters he has been contacted by everyone from Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban to his own idol Dolly Parton—all of whom have offered their condolences and support.

And now even AI host Ryan Seacrest has apologized to the singer for the misleading delivery of the ousting announcement.

"I think the point was to create that element of surprise, and in no way did I mean to—if I did—come across as negative or mean at all," Seacrest said to Johns on his KIIS-FM morning show Monday. "The note from the producers was ‘refer back to last year, get them thinking they may be staying another week, and then of course let them know that they’re gone.'"

Added Seacrest, "I was really bummed when I found out."

Cheer up, Ryan. As Idol history has proven, saying farewell to center stage doesn't mean you stop being the center of attention.

What is Orlando Bloom doing these daysbesides spending money?
—Stephanie, Houston

Taking his model girlfriend to parties, I read. He has no new film projects announced.

Funny. I'm getting a lot of requests to track down missing persons. Check it out in a very special Answer B!tch Lightning Round.

Is Owen Wilson dead or alive?
