Adam Lambert: Rolling Out of the Closet?
Adam Lambert promises that he's about to address all the lingering questions about him.
"At this point, I think everybody knows everything, but once the Rolling Stone article comes out, people will know everything," the American Idol runner-up told us last night at the Young Hollywood Awards.
Reportedly, Lambert will officially come out of the closet next week in a cover story for the music magazine...
Rise 'n' Shine: Vot Is Brüno Doing to Zis Model?
• Sacha Baron Cohen's Brüno plays leap frog with supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio for the cover of British Marie Claire and offers a fashion guide from A to Z. Here's a taste: "O is for...ORLANDO BLOOM. He's basically obsessed mit me. I don't vant to use ze word stalker, but ven ich vas at Milan Fashion Veek I stayed at ze Hotel Malecci. Guess who checked in to ze same hotel two hours later…Orlando Bloom. Coincidence? Ich don't think so." Yeah, this might actually be even funnier than that staged bit with Eminem.
• Chris Pine and Audrina Patridge call it quits. So that happened, we guess, if they were ever really dating in the first place.
• Models don't seem to like Kristin Cavallari any better than her Hills castmates.
• Apparently, if you're Hugh Jackman, strollers are disposable.
• Even Clay Aiken's own charity wants nothing to do with him.
• Dear James Franco: Not cool. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Our Five Fave Face-Offs: Adam vs. Clay, Pattz vs. Pine & More
Everyone loves a good battle, especially when it involves famous people.
Whether truly feuding or merely fighting for a higher position on our Fanpage Fame Charts, numbers never lie (just ask Kris Allen, who—gasp!—didn't even crack our top 30).
This weekend, we're giving you the final outcome on some of the duels that dominated the week's news and some of the clashes that really don't amount to a whole hill of beans. It's all in good, Fanpage fun.
Update
Clay Aiken Semi-Apologizes to Adam Lambert, Slams the Blogosphere
Clay Aiken has retracted his claws regarding that other American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert.
The Broadway star took to his members-only blog last night to address his earlier statements about the vocal stylings of Lambert. Explained Aiken, "I obviously meant it as a colorful statement to imply that I did not enjoy what I heard. Any performer hopes that their music will appeal to all people, but no singer realistically expects it to."
And while no one believed that Aiken literally bled from his ears at the sound of Lambert's voice, the singer chose to place the focus on the blogosphere's misinterpretation of his words rather than the harshness of his remarks.
"My opinion is just that, only my opinion, but for as much as some of the bloggers seem to dislike me and care so little about my thoughts, they sure can waste a lot of their space on what I say," complains the performer.
Clay Aiken vs. Adam Lambert: He Made My Ears Bleed
Well, me-ow.
Don't count Clay Aiken among those upset by Adam Lambert's second-place finish on American Idol. Or, for that matter, among those who can be bothered—or care enough—to even watch the show.
There's apparently no love lost between Ruben Studdard's second banana and Kris Allen's, evidenced by an entry posted yesterday on Aiken's subscriber-only-accessible blog.
"For the record…I couldn't be happier about the way AI ended this year," Aiken wrote, per Defamer. "I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year.
"This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing 'Ring of Fire' and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful and slightly frightening!"
He then delivered his final blow: "Just not my cup of tea at all. To each his own."
Granted, Aiken admitted that he never had the good fortune or even desire to assess Allen's pipes, and acknowledged that some of his most trusted pals told him Lambert's performances were usually "great," but he believes the battle ultimately came down to likability.
And per Aiken, like it or not, a vote for Kris was just as much a vote against Adam.
Rise 'n' Shine: Is Selena Gomez In Love with Taylor Lautner?
• Hey, she said it, we didn't. In a blog post about her least favorite word, hypocrite, Selena Gomez lists things she had once said but has since changed her mind. Her last example reads, "I also said that I would never fall in love until I was much older to really understand the word." Might the Wizards of Waverly Place starlet be talking about a certain werewolf we all know and love?
• Jessica Simpson may be in the midst of another devastating breakup…this time with hairstylist Ken Paves.
• Talk about biting the hand that fed you. Clay Aiken doesn't think too highly of Adam Lambert or American Idol these days.
• Supposedly, Lauren Conrad is all about the whole Audrina Patridge-Chris Pine thing. Ugh.
• Dear Natalie Cole: You've had a seriously rough week. We offer our condolences and wish you a simultaneous speedy recovery. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Clay Aiken: Can Family Help Save His Music Career?
Clay Aiken may have been dropped from his record label, but there's no need to worry just yet. The American Idol crooner has some major family connections in the music biz.
You see, his son's uncle is megaproducer David Foster. David's sister, Jaymes, gave birth to Parker Foster Aiken in August.
"Clay is family," says uncle David, who has produced Grammy-winning hits for superstars like Whitney Houston, Madonna, Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand. "And because Clay is family, if he needs my help, I'm happy to help him."
As for Aiken's parenting skills...
Claymates in Mourning! Aiken Splits With Label
It's a dark day for the Claynation. Or, at least, what's left of it.
Clay Aiken has joined the fallen ranks of American Idol alum and been dropped parted ways with his longtime record label, RCA.
According to Billboard, the split happened a couple months ago following dismal sales of last year's On My Way Here, which was released just weeks prior to Aiken announcing he was out and spawning.
The album, Aiken's fourth, sold 159,000 copies—a fraction of the 2.78 million for his 2003 Measure of a Man.
Reps for both Aiken and RCA have declined to comment on the separation.
Burning Q's: Aniston's Smokin' & Zefron's Baby
I wanna know if Jennifer Aniston smokes. I've read she does, but I haven't seen one single picture of her smoking. Thanks for your answer, B!tch!
— Vanesa, Argentina
E!'s own Matt Donnelly, better known as my B!tchling, says he saw her smoking within the past month—in Miami, to be specific. So there. Make your peace with this scorching fact and enjoy still more of my answers to your Burning Qs!
Hey! I heard Vanessa Hudgens is pregnant with Zac Efron's baby! Is that true?

Aiken's Alleged Lover Says Claymates Harassed Him
You can probably add this guy to the list of people who are pleased by Clay Aiken's decision to come out of the closet.
In an interview with the E! True Hollywood Story, John Paulus says he was harassed by some of Aiken's fans, the Claymates, after he claimed to have had a sexual encounter with the singer.
What Now, Clay Aiken?
So Clay Aiken is officially gay. Is it time for him to say goodbye to his Claymates? Will this hurt or help his career?
—Heather, Santa Monica
Career? Eh? Does he have one of those? Hold one, lemme check ...
Looks like Aiken has sold just over half the number of the albums that Kelly Clarkson has—4.8 million versus Clarkson's 9.4 million. That ranks him higher than Fantasia and Daughtry, but below Carrie Underwood, who ranks just under Clarkson in album sales. USA Today has given his career so far a "B" grade, better then Ruben Studdard, but then again, the lead singer from Sublime has a better career than Studdard—and he's dead.
So, the future of Aiken's career, in one word, is...
Rosie O'Donnell's Message to Clay Aiken
Support continues to pour in for Clay Aiken.
Rosie O'Donnell kept her comments short and very sweet.
"I love Clay," she said. "He is a beautiful man in every way."
