Chaz Bono: Gender Is Between Your Ears, Not Legs
When little Chastity Bono wished television audiences a good night and God bless more than 30 years ago, who knew she'd look so dapper in a suit?
Now Chaz Bono, the daughter son of Cher and Sonny Bono, gives his first live interview since beginning the process of becoming a man eight months ago. Some of his thoughts were downright enlightening.
"To me, gender is between your ears, not between your legs," he tells Chris Cuomo on Good Morning America. "I've felt male as far back as I can remember. As a child, it was really clear. I felt like a boy."
He goes on to explain why being a lesbian is just the "simple answer" for him.
Sex Talk With Miley Cyrus and...Bette Midler?
Talk about a quickie.
Miley Cyrus admits she didn't have to work too hard for her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.
"I shot for like an hour and a half, and I was done," Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest this morning on his KIIS-FM morning radio show. "It was like the best job I'd ever been on."
Cyrus appears as herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) wear the same dress to a red carpet event.
"It was a total dream come true," the Hannah Montana star gushed. "It was so cool. Working with Kim was a really cool. And Sarah Jessica Parker was like the nicest person in the world."
And speaking of celebrity cameos in SATC 2…

Kristen Bell: "My Inner Thighs Are So Sore!"
Kristen Bell is in a lot of pain these days.
"I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore," Bell told me at last night's Vanity Fair-hosted launch of Guess?'s new T-shirt benefiting Invisible Children.
No, the actress is not training for a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She's getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin's upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher.
Rounding out the cast is Twilight stud Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci.
So just how much skin will Bell and the other young starlets be flashing in the film? Sounds like a lot, but...

Julianne Hough Is Dancing Burlesque With Christina Aguilera
Julianne Hough is Burlseque-ing with the stars..
The country-music-singing former Dancing With the Stars pro has joined the cast of Burlesque, a musical about a young small-town singer (Christina Aguilera in her big-screen debut) who becomes a star at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by Tess (Cher).
I'm told Hough, who began rehearsals this weekend, will play a fellow dancer.
Sources insist this is no Showgirls redux…
Chaz Bono's Sex-Change Show a No-Go?
Chaz Bono isn't letting some extra attention get in the way of living his life. Chaz stepped out yesterday with his hottie GF, Jennifer, and soaked up congrats on the sex change from everyone around him. Jeez, with all this newfound buzz surrounding Bono, you'd think there'd be tons of interest in a reality show about Cher's daughter becoming her son. Like the type we told ya about when we first broke the news that C.B. was switching sexes. But alas, there's not a desire for a show at all, asserts C.B.'s reps. Of course, we hear otherwise.
So what's the real reason there's currently no announced Chaz Bono reality show?
Candis Cayne to Cher: "Show Love And Support"
Candis Cayne knows a thing or two about changing genders.
You may remember Cayne: She's the transgender actress who played William Baldwin's mistress on Dirty Sexy Money.
"It's such a private thing," Cayne told me shortly after learning that Cher's daughter, Chastity Bono, was transitioning from a woman to a man. "It's a huge decision. It's not like you wake up one day and say, 'Oh, I'm going to change my sex—won't that be fun?'"
Cayne may not know Bono or Cher, but she does have some words of advice…
Chastity Bono to Become a Man—Big Surprise!
Which is more shocking: That Chastity Bono plans to become a man, or that Cher's rep lied about her client not shopping around a reality show on the ordeal?
TMZ today confirms the semi-stunning news that Chastity has decided to undergo a sex-change operation. Too fab! (Of course, we reported this two months ago, but whatever, right?) Just glad Chastity is happy and...
The Heat Goes On After Cher's Alarm Scare
Rest assured, the only thing on fire at Cher's place is the singer's wit.
Some of Malibu's finest—in more ways than one, apparently—turned up in droves at the superstar's not-so-humble abode just after 11 a.m. today, after the medic alarm button on Cher's security system was accidentally pressed.
Paramedics and sheriff's deputies responded to the scene, and while they were quickly informed that their (professional) services were not required, the outing didn't turn out to be a total loss.
At least, not for Cher.
"Just spoke to Cher, who confirmed it was a false alarm but said she never saw so many cute firemen and paramedics in her life," spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg told E! News.
"She added that there was an especially gorgeous black-haired ambulance driver that she is really sorry she didn't get to meet. Maybe there'll be another false alarm..."

Cher Needs a Little Work
Cher opened her new Las Vegas show last night at Caesars Palace, but the extravaganza still has a few bugs to work out.
Like about two weeks worth, according to the diva herself.
“She said they were going to attempt some pretty cool things tonight, but they had only had two dress rehearsals,” an audience member reports. “So she had no idea if they’d be able to pull it off. She was apologizing in advance for any glitches and said in two weeks it would be much better.”

Cher Believes in Vegas
It seems that Cher's Farewell Tour represented less of a goodbye and more of a see you later.
The legendary singer-actress has confirmed long-gestating rumors that she will be headlining a song-and-dance spectacular at the Colosseum at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace, beginning May 6.
Under the terms of her deal with promoter AEG Live, she will perform approximately 200 shows over a three-year period, trading off shifts with Bette Midler, who begins her own stint at the Colosseum later this month.
"I started in Vegas at Caesars, so I've come full circle," the 61-year-old performer said in a statement. "I'm back and I plan to give my fans the best experience yet. I think everybody knows I only do things in a big way."
Beginning in May, Cher will perform four shows a week for a month, then will return in mid-August for concerts through October.
Her repertoire will include songs from the entire 44-year span of her career, from Sonny & Cher classics to her more recent pop oeuvres.
In addition to her vocals, the show will feature elaborate choreography, incoporating 14 dancers and four aerialists, as well as flashy costumes by Cher's designer of choice, Bob Mackie.
"The fan anticipation leading up to this announcement has been unprecedented," said John Meglen, co-CEO and president of AEG Live/Concerts West. "Cher's talent is legendary around the globe, and there is simply no one like her."
Over the course of her career, Cher has won an Oscar, an Emmy and a Grammy, as well as three Golden Globe awards. She has released more than 25 albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide.
Her Farewell Tour, which ran from 2002 to 2005, was the ninth-biggest grossing tour in history, ringing up $192.5 million in ticket sales for 273 shows, per Billboard.
Tickets to her latest endeavor went on sale Thursday, with prices starting at $95.
