This Just In: Is Posh the New Mia Michaels?

So You Think Posh Can Judge? Popcrunch is reporting that Victoria Beckham is in talks to be a judge on the U.K. version of So You Think You Can Dance. However, her rep tells us, "This is not true." What may or may not be true is that Mia Michaels may be back on the U.S. version. "The seat is always there for her," cocreator Nigel Lythgoe said. "We'll keep our fingers crossed and hope she comes back." Sweet. Now can someone tell us why she left?

Castle Lives! ABC has picked up Nathan Fillion's murder-mystery drama for a full second season, much to the glee of Castle fans everywhere and to the dismay of at least one Whedonite hoping for a second installment of Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog.

FlashForward Shakeup: Marc Guggenheim, coexecutive producer and show runner, is leaving the series, with cocreator, exec producer David Goyer stepping in as the sole boss. No word yet on whether he saw this coming six months ago.

Kirstie Alley Just Tweeted: "MY SHOW deal is done..and I will announce it to you next week when it is signed..REALLY excited and ready to entertain you!!" No word yet on what the show will be, but we are very much looking forward to having our "snippy bitch" reporter "Mr. Josh" cover the heck out of it in an effort to continue Kirstie's love-hate relationship with E! Online.

•Happy Glee Day! Sue and Mr. Shue are totally swinging tonight. No, they aren't swapping keys: They're swing dancing! Jane Lynch (Sue) tells us: "I fling him around like a little girl. I'm leading—totally leading—but at one point he was doing a cartwheel off my thighs, and I fell, and he fell, and I almost killed the guy."

Castle Gets Personal, and There's More Dr. Horrible on the Way

Loading...

Last time we saw the dynamic duo, Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) had dug just a little too deep into finding out about Kate Beckett's (Stana Katic) personal life. In the video above, Stana tells us about the personal turn her character takes this season as we find out more about her family and her private life.

Fret not, there are still more "precarious" moments between Castle and Kate to come.

And if you haven't read the first chapter of Heat Wave on ABC.com, get going because this season centers on the release of Richard Castle's first book following Kate Beckett.

Nathan also lets slip that a Dr. Horrible sequel is already in the writing stages, though you won't see the cast performing at the Emmys. Nathan's hope? Emmys host Neil Patrick Harris rigs the results in favor of Dr. Horrible. We hope so, too.

Will you be watching the new season of Castle on ABC? Or are you just excited for a new Dr. Horrible? The comments await!

ABC Picks Up Castle and Cupid

Nathan Fillion AP Photo/Gaas

Yay! Nathan Fillion is heading back to series television! I've just received confirmation that ABC has picked up Nathan's pilot, Castle.

Written by Andrew Marlowe (the guy behind a little movie called Air Force One), Castle is the story of a mystery writer who advises the New York City police on particularly difficult cases. (Sort of like how after 9/11 the feds asked screenwriters to come up with the craziest terrorist scenarios they could think of, in hopes of being better equipped to deal with the possibilities.)

To make the news even better, I've also just confirmed that the Cupid do-over (from original creator and Veronica Mars mastermind Rob Thomas) has been picked up to series as well.

More Captain Mal Reynolds and more Rob Thomas? Today is a very good day for TV!
