Double Date Night for Katy & Rihanna?

Katy Perry made her way back to Los Angeles this weekend, performing one of her tour's final shows at the Hollywood Palladium Saturday (you can watch it here). Upstairs in the VIP area, all eyes were not on "celeb" Perez Hilton who was in attendance (so cool he couldn't be bothered to take his sunglasses off the entire time inside), but rather on one of Katy's constant rumored love interests, Benji Madden.
Despite being quite short, B.M. was hard to miss with his standard fedora and tats on display. Benji was in a great mood, chatting with friends as he made a brief appearance upstairs before Katy took the stage. Mr. Madden went MIA during the show. Maybe to watch with Perry's "close friends" backstage?
After her fab performance, Katy headed over to club h.wood solo to meet new bestie Rihanna, who was not alone...

Benji Madden, playing poker at the World Poker Tournament in L.A.'s Commerce Casino. Benj bypassed the red carpet but was seated smack in front of the entrance to the tourney, too bad for the press-shy guy. Musta felt the same way while dating Paris. B.M. was lookin' even buffer than before; he and twin bro Joel must be on some diet plan together or something, since Benj even declined to indulge in the free drinks.
The beautiful brunette player to his left musta noticed his new bod, 'cause she couldn't stop flirting with him all night. Benny, on the other hand, kept his eyes on his cards. Benji: Katy Perry Is Just a Friend
Katy Perry recently blogged that there is nothing going on between her and Benji Madden, and now Benji tells E! that the two really are just friends.
"I'm happy to be her friend," B blabs. They may deny "bumping uglies," but we wouldn't be surprised if the late-night "friends" were casually a bit more.
Look at their track records: Katy is a boozer who isn't complicated when it comes to her kissing criteria, and Benji, well, he dated bicycle Paris Hilton. These two should be hooking up. They're young, dammit, no need to take everything so seriously!

Paris Hilton turned heads last night when she hit up the D&G flagship store opening benefiting rhe Art of Elysium. No, it wasn't her stealth red carpet moves that had photogs in a frenzy, it was her planned arrival with none other than ex-boyf Benji Madden.
Although the two didn't take pics together, Paris waited in her car until Benji got there to walk the carpet. Smart. Paris lingered a bit before going in, waiting until B. was done with pictures, and they cruised into the party together arm in arm.
So did Paris have dumper's remorse? Did Benji come back for more? Not the case, dished a very in-the-know gal-pal.
