Will the Jonas Brothers Need Gore to Get 3-D off the Ground?

The Jonas Brothers new film may be in 3-D, but does it need more blood?

"Nothing says date movie like a 3D ride to hell!" reads the tagline of horror film My Bloody Valentine.

Apparently there's truth to that statement; the slaughterfest debuted this weekend with an impressive box-office haul at just a slice under $22 million. But what will this mean for the other 3-D movie due to hit screens next month? Of course we're talking about Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.

While the Jonas rockumentary offers a three-dimensional look into the lads' good-time live performances and heartwarming backstage antics, will it have what it takes to beat My Bloody Valentine's 3-D juggernaut of crowd-pleasing violence?

Do the Jonas boys need to up the gore ante to compete in the 3-D market? Should cute Kevin torture a scantily clad hottie with an electric cattle prod, while sweet Nick and sexy Joe ritually disembowel some teenagers in their personal satanic dungeon after the concert? Who knows? Perhaps the brothers Jonas will hit box-office gold without a blood-red makeover. What do you think? Take our poll!
