Anna Nicole Smith's Weepy Judge Cleared

No doubt Judge Larry Seidlin shed tears of joy yesterday.

The Broward County lawman who famously cracked jokes and wept as he presided over the tug-of-war for Anna Nicole Smith's remains was cleared of any wrongdoing by the Miami-Dade state attorney's office.

Seidlin left the bench in 2007, but a lawyer last year alleged that the judge was accepting bribes in return for public defender appointments on court cases.

The theatrical jurist has reportedly been courting a judicial-themed television show.
