Queen Gets the Led Out, Honors Robert Plant

Jimmy Page can't seem to get Robert Plant onboard for a Led Zeppelin reunion. Maybe Queen Elizabeth can do some arm-twisting.

Seems Her Majesty is a big Zep fan, naming Plant as one of the recipients of her New Year's honors.

The 60-year-old Rock Hall of Famer, who's shrugged off his band's talk of a new tour in favor of his ongoing collaboration with bluegrasser Alison Krauss, has been named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). He was the most recognizable recipient on a list that included Olympians, philanthropists and civil servants.

For those keeping score at home, as a CBE, Plant just has one step to go on the stairway to knighthood.
