Addictionary Word of the Day: Tabloitering

If you've ever hung out on the Hollywood club scene, you've probably witnessed today's word, tabloitering.

That's when you see a bunch of stalkarazzi lingering outside a hot spot, trying to ambush a star on the way in or out to sell the pix to a tabloid. And when there's even the tiniest morsel of celebrity present, you'll see these paparatz scurry in a hurry.

We've got a secondary definition we'd like to add: idling at the supermarket checkout line, soaking up as much tabloid gossip as you can without having to buy any of the magazines. That's tabloitering, too, in our book.

If you think you've got a better word for tabloitering, feel free to challenge. Or browse the Celebrity Addictionary and enter your own creations when inspiration strikes.
