Young Britney Spears Audition Is Adorable

Ah, the holidays—the perfect time for making miracles happen. Like getting discovered by Donny and Marie Osmond and then belting out an Alicia Keys cover because the sky's the limit from there. That's the premise for the famous siblings' ABC special, Rediscovered, airing Dec. 23.

Of course, discovering a bunch of nobodies isn't enough to make us watch, unless Simon Cowell is there to criticize them. Instead, the show attempts to lure us in with audition footage of our faves like Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Tom Cruise and Britney Spears. Brit's so-cute-it-hurts audition is in the clip above. Give it a watch and ponder with us why she doesn't sing like that anymore.
