After taking the raunch to the big screen, Seth Rogen is bringing porno back where it rightfully belongs…in a late-night time slot on a pay cable channel.

The Zack and Miri Make a Porno star is developing a comedy series for Showtime based on three twentysomething friends who run, yes, a pornography shop.

It's unlikely the series will veer much into XXX territory, according to Variety, focusing not on any Kama Sutra-inspired video scenes but rather on the pals learning more traditional life and love lessons.

Rogen will write and produce with partner Evan Goldberg—their joint credits include Superbad and Pineapple Express—with the series set to debut in 2009. Sex, drugs and now porn...these guys are living the dream.

In other casting moves...

Dan Fogler is back in the biopic business. The actor, who is already playing Alfred Hitchcock in the upcoming Number 13, is now trying to channel Sam Kinison, playing the manic comic in Brother Sam. According to Variety, the HBO telepic will be based on the memoir by his brother, Brother Sam: The Short, Spectacular Life of Sam Kinison.

Dean Cain is lending his super skills to Kingdom Come. Per Variety, the Hallmark Channel original telepic stars Cain as a conman who vies for the affections of a taken woman. The film airs in mid-2009.

Ben Kingsley's production company has announced work on a half-dozen projects, including several starring the Oscar winner. Kingsley will appear in two historical films, the WWI drama Jutland 1916 and the Native American epic Whispers Like Sunday, and voice the role of a toy elephant in the fantasy Duncan, about a girl and her favorite pachyderm plaything.
