Snoop Dogg is ready to do a rain dance after his family and staff were among 26,000 people forced to evacuate their homes Sunday due to Southern California wildfires.

"My family had to be evacuated. It's right in the area of where I live in, so I'm just praying for everybody, hopefully rain, and that firefighters get it done trying to bring an end," the rapper tells E! News.

The Grammy-nominated star was not home at the time his family had to clear out of his multimillion-dollar property in the Country Estates, an exclusive, gated hillside community in Diamond Bar, Calif. Snoop says his family is "cool" and are seeking shelter with other relatives.

As part of the "Triangle Complex" fire, the inferno has already scorched more than 10,000 acres and spans four counties: Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside.

Snoop is the latest celeb to have his home imperiled by a spate of hellacious wildfires in Southern California over the weekend. Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe's digs managed to survive a blaze up the coast in Montecito, but neighbor and Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd wasn't so lucky, his place was among the 200-plus area homes destroyed.
