Diddy & Pete Wentz Party for Obama

Diddy had a lot to celebrate last night—not only his 39th birthday, but Barack Obama taking the presidency as well.

"That's the only thing I wished for!" the birthday boy told E! News about Obama's big win, adding that he hopes he'll be "loving, kind" president.

So what was Diddy's party guest Pete Wentz doing in NYC when wife Ashlee's about to pop?

Seems the Fall Out Boy rocker couldn't pass up partying with Sean Combs and celebrating the new president.

The one thing that bummed him out about Election Day? The passage of Prop 8, which eliminates gay marriage in California.

"I'm not happy about Prop 8, but everything else I'm happy about," he told E! News. The daddy-to-be also dished that he and Ash do know the baby's sex, but they're not spilling.

"I could be racing home any second," he said of Ashlee's due date. "I could get the call at any time!"
