Dancing's Lacey: I Have What Julianne Has

DANCING WITH THE STARS, LACEY SCHWIMMER, LANCE BASS, DWTS ABC/KELSEY McNEAL

OK, Dancing With the Stars people, may as well get your full-body scans now.

Freshman DWTS pro Lacey Schwimmer revealed Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with endometriosis, the very same condition that required Julianne Hough to go under the knife yesterday.

"Yes, it's true," she tells E! News. "I'm OK, though."

The 20-year-old West Coast swing specialist, who cut her TV teeth as a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance last year, told The Insider that she opted to get checked out after realizing she had symptoms similar to what landed Hough in the hospital last week.

Schwimmer says that she caught the disease—which occurs when endometrial tissue that makes up uterine lining grows outside of the uterus, most often around other pelvic organs—early and is currently taking medication to manage it. Surgery isn't required at the moment, she said.

Meaning, she and Lance Bass can get right back to charging up the leaderboard ASAP.

Hough, meanwhile, underwent an appendectomy and a procedure to remove ovarian cysts related to the disease on Tuesday. She's expected to sit out DWTS for at least a week, while Edyta Sliwinska keeps Cody Linley on his toes in her place.
