Stars Come Out for DJ AM Comeback

DJ AM has been welcomed home with open arms and, equally important for the victims of last month's plane crash, open wallets.

Friends of the rapidly recovering Adam Goldstein performed a special benefit concert, dubbed simply "Welcome Home, DJ AM," at Avalon Hollywood Tuesday night, with proceeds from the open-to-the-public event benefiting the families of the four people who perished in the Sept. 19 Learjet crash.

The 35-year-old survivor himself turned up at the event, as did fellow famous spinners Danny Masterson, Mark Ronson, DJ Aoki and Swayze.

Other celebs showing their support by attending the gig included Hilary Duff, Wilmer Valderrama, will.i.am, Macy Gray, Tila Tequila and Cisco Adler.

Travis Barker, the only other survivor of the accident, remains hospitalized.

Members of the public were also invited to attend the event at the cost of $20 a ticket, with proceeds going toward the victimized families.

As for DJ AM, last night could more or less be viewed as a practice run for his more official coming out—or rather, coming back—party, as he's set to join Jay-Z onstage tonight when the rapper's tour touches down at the Hollywood Palladium.

The unofficial comeback tour continues when AM retakes his spot behind the turntables at Caesars Palace hotspot Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas on Oct. 21.
