Barbara Shrugs Off Star's "Hateful" Rant

If Star Jones is looking for a fight, she better look elsewhere.
Barbara Walters is opting not to engage her former tag-team partner, even though Jones sounded off on her former View mates in a recent interview with Essence magazine, saying "those girls were hateful" when Jones exited the ABC gabfest in 2006.
"Barbara set me up," added Jones.
But in her response today, Walters kept things civil.
"Star had wonderful years with us on The View," Walters said. "And I think The View made Star a star."
OK, let's make that relatively civil.
