Frankly, Rachel Bilson going blond should be more appealing than this. That glossy mane looks like it ought to be reading the local news weeknights at 5, 6 and 11 p.m.

We're pretty sure the former Summer Roberts of The O.C., seen here with Hayden Christensen on the set of New York, I Love You, has a strong character motivation for wearing the golden hair helmet.

But if she doesn't, she might want to check into those European extensions that Bret Michaels has been going on about.
