Half-Dressed for Success: Looking Rose-y

Nobody nearly falls out of a dress quite like Rose McGowan. Which is why we're thrilled that she's still starring in the remake of Jane Fonda's '60s sci-fi sexploitation acid trip, Barbarella. To be honest, we weren't too worried about Rose losing the part, seeing as her bf Robert Rodriguez (seen with Rose above) is directing. That's called, having an in.

And McGowan is appropriately, well, rosy about the remake's prospects, telling MTV news that, “The original doesn’t have a lot to go on plot-wise. It’s one thing to do a remake of something that could have been much better storywise even if it was fantastic visually. It’s another thing to remake something flawless. That way if yours isn’t that good at least yours is better than that one.”
