Cameron Diaz Shows Her Dark Side

Cameron Diaz, W Magazine W Magazine / Michael Thompsen

In case you need a reminder that Cameron Diaz is gorgeous and kooky and cool, W magazine interviews the celeb about life and love and blah blah blah.

The interview is pretty standard-fare Cameron: She wanted to be a zoologist when she was a girl. She is “in love with life” right now. She parties so much during Vegas weekends, she doesn’t even need a hotel room.

But then Ms. Diaz goes to a little bit of a dark place, explaining she’s moved to New York because the L.A. paparazzi make life hell for celebs.

In New York, she says, "not everybody is there to be rich and famous or attach themselves to rich and famous people. People want nothing from you...I like to be in a place where I can be open to people and not worry about the consequences."

Then, seeing that her answer bums out the interviewer, she farts the “Star-Spangled Banner,” and all is right in the world again.
