NPH Prefers a Different Blonde

So many people want to work with the NPH: Britney Spears, James Van Der Beek. But when it comes to Neil Patrick Harris' ideal guest for How I Met Your Mother, the actor has asked for another blonde altogether.
Other than Christopher Guest, the star he'd really like to sling zingers with is—wait for it!—Jenny McCarthy.
"She would be great," he told E! News during a roundtable yesterday for his next flick, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, which opens in two weeks. "She's made some interesting choices. She acts with an intensity that would make it interesting to see what she could throw at Barney."
But don't look for the ex-Playmate at McLaren's anytime soon.
"I pitched it to the [producers]," Harris said. "Nothing has come of it."
