We were baffled by photos of Demi Moore hiding her flawless face behind a leather bag while out with Ashton in L.A. Is this the same woman who has appeared on magazine covers wearing nothing but paint?

Turns out, Demi wasn’t being demur.

Temperley London sent out a chipper press release after the savvy bit of product placement, announcing that Demi was carrying a "black Temperley London Gigi snake-printed tote from the Spring/Summer '08 Collection." In front of her face. Where, you know, cameras are often pointed.

While the paps who unwittingly shot this Temperley London ad only heard click, Demi heard cha-ching?
