Chelsea & Jenny Prove They're Not to Be Trusted

E!'s resident jokester Chelsea Handler surprised everyone last night when she made the following announcement on her late-night talk show, Chelsea Lately:

"By the way, Jim, Jenny wanted me to tell you she's pregnant."

That was it—no explanation. All we knew was it had something to with Jim Carrey and her pal Jenny McCarthy.

Finally, we're getting some real answers today.

When asked if there was any truth to Chelsea's declaration, Jenny's rep said that it was all in fun. And then Chelsea explained it even further for us: "Jenny wanted to play a joke on Jim. She's not really pregnant, but hopefully I am."

Thanks, Chelsea, but now we have a whole new set of rumors to clear up. Baby drama is one thing we take very seriously around here.
